Went to this restaurant for Xmas day as it was highly recommended to us. The cost was £90 each. I can not describe the disappointment for both of us. The starter we had was mushrooms in a wine and garlic sauce, which anybody could have made. The main dinner was bland and parts of the dinner was cold. The pudding was dry, and the cheese and crackers was the best part of the meal( which was not cooked) even that had a bit of limp salad on it, no dressing etc. If you are going to charge that sort of money, you expect a decent meal, unfortunately this was not the case. When we arrived, we were given a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The family ownership is very evident. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Whilst there wasn't a lot of choice on the menu, what we had was served without delay and was well presented.
