Spice Master — Restaurant in Tewkesbury

Ordered from spice master Indian tonight ...Absolutely disgusting customer service tonight! I have always been a local in brockworth and family also live all around this area and have never had any problem with the food. Ordered here alot and it has been late,but you understand they are busy. Ordered tonight and again took an hour and half to get to us. I was a little concerned so rang the restaurant. The gentleman on the phone was absolutely disgusting And had no customer service skills!! When I explained this is not the first time I was told that if I was not satisfied with the service to go somewhere else. This was said in such a rude way that my husband also was shocked as he could hear him also on the phone!!! . Our order did arrive, but again was not happy as some of it was missing!!!! Sorry but that’s not the correct response. I always spend nearly 30 pound a time. A little respect for your customers goes a long way!!! Will not be ordering from here again which is a shame as all the other staff we have dealt with in the pass has been lovely. Maybe this individual needs to learn some manners and respect the customers who are paying his wages or bills !!!!! Absolutely shocking experience. After a few orders with minimal issues, this Friday evenings dinner was ruined.

After an abrupt conversation ordering my food I was told it would be an hour before my food was delivered. 1 hour 50 minutes later I made multiple attempts to call to find out what was happening.

Another 20 minutes later my food arrived. The delivery driver was truly the rudest man I have ever met. After asking why it took so long and explaining I couldn't get through on the phone he said "what do you want discount, the have been a company for 31 years- you aren't getting discount". He refused to talk any further, walked away and put his two fingers up at me on the way back to his car (see doorbell images).

I called Spice Master and spoke to someone who couldn't care less. I was told a manager would call. Do you think they did??

Ordered via Just Eat, at 6:55pm for a delivery at 8:15pm. That time came and went, so at 8:30pm used the help system on Just eat and the restaurant text me saying it would now be delivered at 8:45pm. That’s fine, we will wait till then, that time came and went. So at 9pm I requested a refund through Just Eat as this was nearly an hour delay and we ate food at home instead. 9:05pm the driver turns up, I explained I didn’t want the food as I had requested a refund due to the delay, he didn’t apologise, he just said they had been busy and he didn’t know about the time delay.

The restaurant then got in contact and said they would not be refunding me as they were extremely busy last night. Poor service, will never use again, shame as it’s in our local.
