Winchcombe Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Tewkesbury

We were so excited to have an Indian in Winchcombe and it really has lived up to expectations. The staff and service are really what make this restaurant amazing. Couldn't fault their warm and impeccable service when I ate here in the summer when it first opened. I'm also going to have it tonight as a takeaway for my birthday supper. Only negative is that I ordered a chicken dish which was rated medium heat but it wasn't spicy enough for me. Went here for a meal on Thursday evening, having visited the Broadway restaurant many times. The food was sensational and the staff were lovely, really helpful with making menu choices and they were chatty and happy which made for a great atmosphere!

The decoration inside is gorgeous, with candles, rich colours on the walls and art complementing the Cotswold stone and beams. Really recommend this venue for evening meals or celebrations!!

We live locally and have been really excited for this to open – it’s certainly did not disappoint and we will be back here often.

Atmosphere I came in for a takeaway. My first time visiting the place. Two gentlemen were working and they were so hospitable. I sat and had a pint while waiting for my food. Small things such as moving the drinks coaster closer to me for my beer, and not letting me do it myself we're really appreciated. The food was incredible too. I can't recommend this place enough. When I have more time l'll come in for a sit down meal because I know it'll surpass the experience...
