Roma Pizza — Restaurant in Thanet

Absolutely dreadful service. We ordered 2pm on a Tuesday, and pretty quiet time when you wouldn't expect many delays. They say it'll be 30-45 minutes, roughly an hour and a half later the guy arrives, after we phoned them twice to be told he was on his way both times. When the man arrives it was too late for us to have time to eat our pizza before everyone had to leave so I tell the delivery driver this (and had also told them on the phone the 2 times I'd had to call back that they had to be there by 3:15 or we couldn't take the pizzas) to which the driver replies in a very rude manner. I phone the place to complain about the driver to then be told he was the boss. I'm not normally one to leave bad reviews because having worked in similar jobs I know a lot of the reviews are utter bullshit but then so was their service so I guess It only seems right to leave this review. 12 unhappy customers later they wont be getting my...

Wouldn't even give them 1 star to be honest. Pizza arrived quickly, gave the driver my money and went to close the door at the same time opened it to take a slice to realise it wasn't what I ordered, called the driver who was just getting into the car and said it was worng order. He called the pizza shop and it ended with me on the phone on my door step being with the person on the other side of the call arguing and calling me a liar!! Really nice pizzas and wedges and we spent lots of money here over the course of the past year. But the last few times, every single order has been wrong, with food missing. Last time it took 3 phone calls and 90 minutes to get 3 missing items delivered - my child's entire order. Evidently they don't care about our loyalty or our experience with them so we've switched to Elizabeth instead. What a short sighted way to act though, and a shame when the food is good.
