Absolutely brilliant. Wanted to stay somewhere lovely in Margate and saw the reviews for The Albion Rooms were outstanding, and having stayed there I can now see why! Service was exceptional - we were looked after by Abby who was both friendly and uber professional. Also makes excellent coffee - defo try one of hers :) We had lovely drinks in the bar and the rooms were really special. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and so stayed in the Loft room - I am so glad we were as honestly it was amazing and I would now only book that if I went back because it was so perfect (even though our first room, the red one, was also sensational). The Loft has sunsets at dusk, bath for two, huge room, amazing bed. Breakfast was top notch (and I'm not easily impressed with breakfasts haha) and the whole vibe of the place was spot on. Huge props to the lovely man who was looking after the rooms and hotel also, making sure fridges were stocked, towels, and nibbles (which are all complimentary - a lovely touch). Will defo be going back, I honestly can't sing praises enough. If you're at all on the fence just go,...
Read moreLovely place, exceptional vibe, and amazing staff. We stayed at the Albion Rooms for New Years Eve and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Special mention to the breakfast in the morning, 10/10! We stayed in the Loft Room which was absolutely delightful. If there was one teeny-tiny comment to make it perfect would be the addition of a full-length mirror somewhere in the room. A free standing vintage mirror wouldn't diminish the overall vibe of the room, and there's plenty of space available without it being cramped - also the wife mentioned it would have been great if there was one light bulb/or a space that is slightly brighter in order to do her make-up without me having to point the phone torch in her face so she can apply - but these are minor points which didn't deter from having a positive stay, but just a comment. We will...
Read moreReally good little boutique hotel - never stayed in a place quite like it before! Went there with my Wife for a Saturday night as we were going to Margate Winter Gardens down the road. We stayed in the William Blake room and it was perfect. The check-in was easy, got there a bit early but just went for a quick drink in the bar downstairs whilst the room was being sorted - and our bags were taken up for us when it was ready. The bar is great. Good beers and good prices! We ended up in there at the end of our night out, with live music on and everyone singing along!! We had dinner at the hotel before going out , couldn't fault the food or service (hotel team were brilliant for the whole stay). Also got breakfast in the morning - continental & then a full fry-up. Will be booking up to...
