My Coffee Affair — Restaurant in Three Rivers

I was shocked and dismayed to read such bad review made by Graham Bates below . I have been coming into the owners lovely coffee shop almost every day since she took over a few years ago. I do get quite cross, on her behalf, when people come in for their one cup of coffee and sit for hours on their laptop, even though people are waiting for a table . The owner had a small capacity of only ten seats and this person sat on his own for 3 hours on a four seater table. It’s not fair on the owner when she works so hard and makes sure everyone has a warm welcome and is made to feel comfortable. Oh my goodness I saw that guy in there (Graham) !!! He had NO SHAME at all - one coffee for hours sitting there conducting his business & probably making money !! Unbelievably selfish & then to leave a review like that ??? Maybe he was getting a kick out of ear wigging everyone’s conversations 😂 glad he won’t be back 🙏. Anyway this little coffee shop is the perfect place to meet friends or just pop in on your own - it’s so friendly. Came here on recommendation of a friend for a coffee and to catch up on some emails while my daughter was attending a short event at her school. Upon paying I was informed that by taking what was certainly less than an hour and a half to drink my £4.10 coffee, I’d overstayed my welcome and that I wouldn’t be able to stay this long in future.
