Perch & Co — Restaurant in Three Rivers

Such a shame the new menu has been introduced and it is nothing like the website description. We visited as a treat from time to time over the last year and enjoyed taking our family there too. We understand people even came from other parts of Herts/London as the food was so good.

The old menu has genuinely interesting choices and items you wouldn't make at home so easier such as the quesadillas and shakshuka.

The new menu is really nothing special. A couple of sandwich options (dry after standing for so long), scotch eggs and sausage rolls. We can find these for less at the local Co-Op. Sure there are cakes and decent coffee but we came for the food menu and get properly fed.

Don't usually write reviews but felt compelled as the menu change means we have no reason to go back. It is such a shame as it was a unique offering for the village and hope they...

My daughter introduced me to Perch & Co in lock down 2020, but we were never able to sit down inside. I have been back twice in the past few weeks and it's just such a lovely little café, homely and friendly (doggy friendly too). The food is lovely and the portions are huge! I had chicken and avocado on toasted sourdough with chilli jam and an oat latte, my mum had the messy vegan which she absolutely loved! The avocado was seasoned and had a hint of citrus, yummy! The coffee is that smooth coffee that doesn't leave a bitter taste in your mouth, we had 2 each! They have a cute little courtyard garden out the back for those sunny brunch/lunch get togethers. Perch and co have always been an amazing cafe. Since the update of the menu (brave and bold move) I have continued to enjoy all dishes and beverages. Perhaps even more due to the convenience, care, quality and variety. They’re many choices for vegetarians and vegan as well as a variety of fresh produce for sale.

Staff are really likeable and friendly and the sourdough (finally for sale!) is out of this world. The fresh cakes are phenomenal in particular the homemade vegan cakes which are master chef level. I’m an savoury person but find myself buying cake 😆

Always a safe, happy and tasty place to get all my necessities and basic needs met! Love Perch ❤️
