1st time: From the outside it looks like a place you only want to visit if you are very hungry and have nowhere else to go. For the place, you should definitely not judge the book by the cover. I visited it today as I was desperate for a curry at lunch time and this was the only place open. I was very nicely surprised that they had linen napkins and silver cutlery. The waiter / cook was very welcoming. I was the only person there. I ordered a Bindi curry and garlic nan and was very nicely surprised at how tasty it was. The Bindi still had it's firmness and so was not over cooked. The sauce was tomatoe based and a nice mixture of the herbs and just enough spice. The lime pickle added extra kick when I wanted it. The nan was freshly made and one portion had me very full. I will most certainly go back and tell my friends about the little gem. 2nd time: I had the veg thali and I ate most of it, but was actually disappointed with the quality. However, my wife had the meat thali and she really enjoyed the kebab and the lamb curry. She was also inspired to make keema rice, as she like it so much. My mother in law also liked her chicken biryani.

I wrote a review before ,but after returning again last night , I would give the food 6 stars The Food was amazing the popodums were fresh and slightly warmed the butter chicken was delicious, my partner had tandoori chicken that melted in his mouth and was full of flavour . Seriously guys and girls you really need to have an Indian from this place 😁

Discovered this place by accident whilst boating up the Grand Union canal, mooring up by the lock and walking up the lane to the shops. What an utter gem; a spotlessless clean old school curry house with an immaculate interior and cosy dining booths. We were waited upon by the charming proprietor, who's owned the business since 1980. The menu is massive and all tastes are catered for. The arrival of two bottles of ice cold Kingfisher beers boded well, and was soon backed up by the arrival of popadums and copius chalices of pickles and sauces - not the homeopathic portions so common nowadays. My mixed grill starter of Tandoori chicken, tikkas and kebab was the size of a main course and delicious. Mains of chicken dansak, and biriyani with veggie curry, supported by saag aloo and peshwari naan duly filled the table. It was a magnificent feast; we couldn't finish it, so it was helpfully doggie-bagged and enjoyed the following evening. How this quality of food can be presented at this very affordable price point is amazing. We will certainly be paying our respects again on our return journey. I've loved eating Indian food for nearly 50 years - and that available in the UK still delights me. Go to the Croxley Green Standard Tandoori, you will...

I just had the most horrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered 2 parathas, Aloo Keema, Lamb Tikka (Main). The driver didn't arrive on time and it showed on Just Eat as "Delivered". I tried to ring restaurant few times and gave a review that it never arrived. Suddenly a man appeared looking around the street and complained about the house number not visible and he has been calling however I never received a call.

He DELIVERED (eventualy) however there were two items missing i.e. One Paratha and one Lamb tikka. I tried calling that delivery man and shouted for him but he never stopped and drove away.

This wasn't my first time ordering from them however It is CERTAINLY LAST TIME.

If I was a white man then I know the experience would be different but since I am Asian, they just don't care about the quality of work, time, ethics etc etc.

Moreover, the driver took £20 and didn't had a change which I categorically mentioned on NOTES in JustEat....

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS RESTAURANT AND DO NOT ORDER....SIMPLY, THEY ARE RACIST CONMEN WHO ARE AFTER YOUR MONEY......

Restaurants like these are the reason of negative image of Asian community in this...
