This is the first time I have been to this restraunt to collect a takeaway and its my last !.

Although a mixed Biryani is a simple and straight forward dish to prepare and cook mine was anything but this. Biriyani meals are usually served medium hot but there was virtually no spice content in the meal at all and my meal was devoid of any real meat content. The rice appeared not to be Basmati but if it was it was more of a luke - warm slushy splodge. As this was a meal for one when I unpacked my order there were 2 portions of Onion Bhaji's instead of the single portion I expected and these were just as awful and luke-warm too. Perhaps the communication could have been a better as there was obviously some confusion when I placed my order despite 2 or 3 attempts to clarify my order.

This restraunt has had some really good reviews in the past although there are just 6 reviews on google which is quite telling and not a good indication of quality or of anything else as its the most inauthentic eaterie I have ever had the misfortune of visiting hands down. My bill for this meal for one was just over £21, where the only thing they did right was to ask me if I wanted a receipt.

I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews of any kind and this is only the second Asian style eaterie I have visited in the area this past year as I have been overseas for some considerable time. If you prefer something that is at least authentic and edible I would quite honesly pass on Tonbridge altogether and skip onto the train service straight in to London instead.

Everything in the capital is far better from the service the food and the wait staff who will actually greet you than cheek you or dismiss you and the ambiance is also far better real and more conducive where you will at least actually get what you pay for and something of what you might expect. It could have been they were perhaps having an off-night - so much so that my order ended up in the dustbin while I went to my local Chippy instead.

They may not have liked the colour of my shirt either which has faded recently as this is a distinct possibility as a some strange guy kept darting back and forth in and out of the doorway waving his arms around and staring who seemed to be monitoring me much to the amusement of the waitress and the kitchen staff who otherwise avoided all eye contact.

When I arrived to collect my meal the female wait staff seemed very keen to process my payment and usher me out. In actual fact arriving and leaving felt more like a begrudged send off and spectacle than it did a warm welcome - so I left very quickly as it really wasn't what I expected as they appeared to have some sort of issue.

The single female waitress then waited by the shop window to watch me leave while twitching the net curtains and she also monitored my departure perhaps in the hope that I wont return and guess what - I wont be.

Not bad going for £21 worth of nothing - So I hope they enjoyed themselves - as I didn't !.

My Verdict : - Give It A Miss -...

Very lovely place just by the station for a quick casual takeaway, lunch or dinner.

Very friendly and efficient staff. They check all orders with everyone before going to the kitchen. There was good distance amongst tables and hand sanitizer station upon entrance and separate for each table. I also loved the hot water expanding towels in the end, which I nearly at thinking it was food.

Food was very good! Chicken moms, coconut rice and mushroom biryani was delicious! Coconut rice had nice fluffy consistency, chicken momos were delicious and freshly made. Biryani had nice consistency and I liked the fact it was left mild for people to salt to their own taste. Mango lassi was also delicious!

Atmosphere was good and great location just off the station by the high street.

Went here because there was a lot of good reviews the food was terrible service was bad and Waiter was rude, after looking through the reviews you can see 99% of them are fake so if you wanna scam people watch your reviews go down to 1 star we can all pay people to make good or bad reviews for little money, trust me avoid this place at all costs go through the reviews and your see they are fake, anyway I would say thank you for the free foood as did not pay but it was that bad it went straight in the bin and got a kebab instead l, a lot of these Indian restaurants are owed by same person you can see what 1s are his as his all have the most reviews terrible place will be getting trading standards to look into the black mouldy chicken korma, karma will...
