Update;
Wow! You have completely lied in your reply!
I have video evidence of my daughter throughout the visit! My daughter the first time yelled āMummy!ā (this being the first scream) and the 2nd time she cried because she hit her head on the sharp table edge. She was sat in an adults chair and her head was nearly the same height level with the table! If you allow children to eat then you should provide child high chair!!! Your cafe is unsafe and hazardous for young children. You completely lied about her not being seated appropriately.
You did not ask me for anything, I had to tell you she was bleeding so you stopped yelling at us!! She was crying for 40 seconds!!! I breastfed my daughter immediately to calm her down! You did not even come to check after if she was okay!
You have CCTV, please show on here how my child was so terrible????!!!! The worst you ever experienced!!!
I have video evidence and if anyone would like to see for themselves how well behaved my 2 year old child was!
In your previous 1* comments you have responded back to numerous comments regarding children making noise! You yourself have advised people not to visit on weekends and half terms as it is louder!
We did not lie about how much we spent! We spent Ā£20 on entry fee for 3 adults and 1 Toddler, we then ordered the cream teaās, milkshake and cookies which came to around Ā£50!!! So how have we lied???
You are saying a child needs to stay mute and seated at all times!! Maybe I will visit on the weekends/halfterms without my ādisturbing childā to see how quiet it is!!!
Every where I take my 2 year she is appreciated and people comment on how lovely and well behaved she is!
I think you are a disgusting person to lie about how awful my child was.
Yes! We didnāt say anything when we left, my daughter was distressed and I wanted to leave without adding extra distress to my daughter. You also didnāt seem the type of person who could handle any constructive criticism.
As I left, I actually spoke with a customer who was present during our visit and she shared her concerns and made sure my child was okay.
I believe you are the one that cannot cope in your own environment and maybe you should go and enrol yourself into a customer service course!!
You canāt use the poor cats to always defend yourself!
I left an accurate & honest review, I can provide evidence. Iām sure this wonāt be the last bad review you receive regarding their small child/toddler.
Never again!! I feel so sorry for my 2 year old daughter. She is a cat fanatic and absolutely adores cats. She has 3 cats at home; she understands the importance of being patient and quiet around cats. When we arrived she was so overwhelmed to see so many different cats and with that excitement she screamed just the once! I then explained to my 2 year old daughter to sit on the chair and calmly wait for the cats to approach her and she happily and quietly did so.
Few minutes later, my daughter injured herself on the table. The table edge was very sharp and she ended up with a cut to her head and lip. A staff member abruptly ran over and started frantically asking me to stop my daughter being so loud. My daughter was crying because she was in so much pain. I then said to the staff member my daughter is bleeding!! She stopped being so frantic and went off to get a wet paper towel. The rest of the duration we sat in silence. My daughter then cried she wanted to leave.
I felt very uncomfortable, it is obviously not toddler friendly and they should just say so and make changes to their policy!
To add: My toddler was very excited but well behaved. The way I was spoken to was as if my toddler was running around and screaming the whole duration!! She was sat down on the chair eating her biscuit and smiling at the cats. Again to mention that she actually only screamed the once! in the beginning out of excitement and the 2nd time she cried because she hurt herself on the table.
Very depressing atmosphere, rude customer service and definitely not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt take kids! They only accept kids to take money and will only make you feel uncomfortable as soon as you step in. We went to support the charity, fully aware the cats are rescued cats! There is no stopping or preventing a TODDLER from crying!!!
The staff member caused more harm to the cats by yelling and panicking.
Maybe there is a good reason other cafes who do not allow under 10ās! They obviously have this rule to protect the cats.
Total cost for us to sit at a sticky hazardous table for 3 adults and a child, £50.
Cream tea is overpriced, we only had one teaspoon and a small bowl of clotted cream and jam between the 3 of us. I understand itās a cat cafe, but a staff member literally saw a cat eat our jam and didnāt even offer to replace it.
Really not worth the price or time, would rather sit in a skip with a takeaway costa.
Update (response to the reply) We paid £20 extra for the entry tickets so yeah pretty much close to £50 and also paid for parking.
How is a 2 year old affecting your mental health?
I have anxiety & depression yet I still treat people with kindness not a excuse to be rude to a customer.
It was actually you who made my experience bad you was really rude to me and made a sarcastic comment you made me feel so anxious that didnāt help with my mental health.
I also read similar reviews like mine from the past 5 years they also said the same and said they had well behaved children. Even people went without kids left not so good reviews about your customer service skills.
As we were paying 6.50 each you should have given us a separate pots and we literally only had 1 spoon of jam to share and you charged me extra for cream when I asked so itās not like you gave it to me for free.
we can all individually put out a review of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYet again a lovely visit to Paws (we've been going regularly for years). Would 100% highly recommend. Elaine, Lauren, Megan and all the other helpers do a great job. The cats are really loved and well looked after. Food and drink really reasonably priced. Can't believe the bad reviews from 3 on the same table re: the 2 year old who they bought in for a visit. There's never been complaints before from people with young children. The cats are all rescues and can easily get spooked so maybe not a place for 2 year olds. Lauren and Elaine are always on the customers sides and try to accommodate young children, a lot of other cat cafes dont. Everything they do is in the best interests of their cats. So if there's anything happening that upsets or scares their cats then they're going to speak up. Also the tables have NEVER had sharp dangerous edges so if a 2 year old was sitting nicely and behaving at a table then how would they bang their head??!!! That's not the cat cafes fault.... and if you really didn't like it there why didn't you just leave! I feel those 3 people just wanted something to moan about. I can't just sit back and allow 3 people to discredit a really good cafe that are doing so much to help cats without homes and mistreated cats and who work so hard to make and keep this a good and respected cat cafe. UPDATE* I WAS NOT TOLD TO STICK UP FOR PAWS CAT CAFE, NOTHING WAS SAID TO ME ABOUT THE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE, I SAW THEM MYSELF AND IT WAS MY OWN CHOICE TO GIVE MY OPINION OF THE 3 CUSTOMER REVIEWS WHO ONLY GAVE 1* AS I THOUGHT THE 3 PEOPLE GIVING THE 1* WERE TOTALLY UNFAIR. ALSO IN NO WAY IS IT BULLYING. THE PERSON/PEOPLE IN QUESTION HAD THEIR OPINION SO THE...
