Subway — Restaurant in Tonbridge and Malling

Ordered two meatless meatball marinaras. I haven't eaten meat in 15 years. I ate half a footlong before my wife who became a vegan more recently took a bite and realised we were sent real meat. Rang the branch who admitted they didn't look at the order properly and did send real meat and dairy cheese even though that's not what we ordered or is on the receipt. The staff were dismissive and couldn't comprehend how much this upset us and affected me. This could of ended terribly if I had allergies. I have now spent my whole day vomiting violently. They offered a replacement but said we had to pay. Then just stayed silent on the phone for ages. They acted childish and like they didn't respect our beliefs which are protected and covered by the equality act 2010. Would never trust their staff with food whether you have a dietary requirement or not. Did not raise my complaint or offer a way to make up for the mistake....

The food was nice and fresh. The lady was in on her own, so it was a little slower service. However, that can't be helped when there's only one member of staff.

The philly cheese steak was NOT worth the money, we got a footlong sub yet only got 1 scoop of the steak, which is the same amount u get on a 6-inch.

The menu moved so quickly off the screen that you couldn't really look at it, so having a hard copy of the options may be of use if you're going to continue to use the screens.

The lady was extremely helpful when it come to the allergens list however I will say if u ask for vegan cheese on your food you only get the smallest amount of cheese, that was half the size of regular cheese which I found a...

Love the food there. Like the way they change gloves so there is no cross contamination for vegetarians. I only gave it 3 stars and not more is because of inconsistencies on how they produce the food. Eg. First timd I ever had Subway I was given 4 scoops of tuna for a 1ft long bread. Now some gives 3 and occasionally some give 4. I like salsa dip on my to give it an extra kick. One they charged me for that and most of the time they don't depending on who serves you. To get that extra star they need to get to know their regular customers and produce food the way they like it plus turn over of staff doesn't help. I have 3 Subway to choose from in my town.
