I'm here right now with 2 of my grandsons, ages 10 and 12 plus we have coincidentally met up with 3 of their male friends of the same ages and their little sister. There's a small play area for children who are too small to climb, and this really needs a little more attention. The price is very good and the facility is also very good. My only gripe is about the added extra to use two of the features, adding £10 to the cost if both children want to have a go (which of course they did!). The boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time here, but the added cost makes a £25 day out a £35 day out - even more if you have more kids! am added bonus was the offer of free water, which I thought was excellent as so many attractions rake in the £££s for water. Anyway, including the 3 friends we met up with, I've just watched 5 boys between 10 and 12 have a great hour of fun exercise without a single complaint! Clip n Climb really should consider how the 'added extras' impact on families. Wouldnit really hurt to include this in...
Read moreThis is such a great place to visit with children, my six year old loved it and there were plenty of older children who were all having an amazing time. I would most definitely recommend. Very well organised and I always felt safe and looked after. Parking is free, there is a small café for refreshments that is reasonably priced and has quick, attentive staff, and there are lockers for your stuff. Friendly and helpful staff all through, so make sure that the owner/manager knows what a good job they are doing. My daughter knocked her head very slightly towards the end of our session and the staff were very caring and made sure she was okay with an ice pack and free ice-cream while filling out an accident form and checking that the safety info was shared properly at the start (it was, she is six and was just a bit too excited and over confident).
First time visitor today, but I will most definitely be back and...
Read moreGreat place, kids loved it. Took the eldest for a trial run the week before she was due to go to a party. She was slightly concerned that it will be a bit too much. You start off with a 15 minute security course explaining exactly how to stay safe which is really simple for the kids. You then get a harness and you're on your own for the duration of your stay. There is lots to do the staff were really helpful and my daughter really enjoyed it. When she came the following week for the party she was a pro!
TIP: If you want to do the stairway to heaven or the death drop (or whatever it's called) you're better to book it in advance or a soon as you come in as the queues can be quite long. For the price I suggest doing it even if you kid doesn't want to on the day because they soon get the confidence and it's easier than having to explain to them you didn't...
