Cafe In The Park — Restaurant in Trafford

Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park.

I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid.

This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open...

Had a lovely visit to the Cafe in the Park today with my newly arrived granddaughter, Charlotte, (just 6 weeks old). The staff were really helpful and I enjoyed my cup of tea from a real teapot (don’t see that too much these days). Perfect for snacks and drinks Staff were sweet friendly and kind. It could be so much more. I wonder where you source your volunteers? If you are a charity could you link with Fareshare for food donations to make the menu a little more varied and reduce your overheads. And maybe find some volunteer bakers for better cake options.
