First time here for an early tea Seen lots of social media recommendations so had to come. Met the lovely Kerry who started tonight and was her first customer … she was so lovely and I’m sure will be an asset to the team. Claire was just as nice and a good teacher So ordered off the 2 for £12.50 menus … lasagna for me .. scampi for him … was lovely good sized portions and piping hot Drinks fairly priced … no corkscrew to open my wine but a laugh rather than a problem All in all a great visit .. cannot fault anything.. just gutted we couldn’t stay for the quiz .. but will...

Oh dear. Been my local for 20 years and prior to that a pub I used. I think it is heading for closure, or it would if there wasn't still a 10 year lease to finance. No money spent on it, no lights and final straw they had no Vodka and it wasn't because they were busy and had sold out. If it wasn't for Ann behind the bar I wouldn't consider going in again. I've been working on site over the last few days.... Dawn (Landlady) and Ben have been looking after me during my visits.

Nothing was too much trouble for them.. they were both very obliging to mine and all the customers needs..

Whenever I've visited I've found There's always been a really pleasant vibe and a great atmosphere throughout the pub...

With locals and regulars having a good time enjoying the live sports and facilities.
