Jackalope — Restaurant in Trafford

My wife and I went in around 1.30pm for lunch. The restaurant appeared quiet. We ordered drinks and food 2 diet cokes one all day breakfast and a burrito. I was asked how I would like my eggs. I said fried and unbroken. That seemed to confuse the waiter. We waited for a long while for our food. Upon its hasty arrival, The waiter ran with our order we were disappointed. My wife's burrito had what the menu described as a dippy egg. It was half a hard boiled egg. One of my fried eggs had a broken yolk and hidden under the other. I asked for it to be replaced which was done. My sourdough toast and hash brown were burnt. We had wanted to visit Jackalope for breakfast/brunch for a while and finally had an opportunity today. Thoroughly enjoyed the Jackalope Breakfast, very fresh, tasty, local ingredients and amazing homemade hash browns. Lovely, friendly staff and quick service too. Just a HUGE shame that the atmosphere was very loud and a large group of what sounded like football hooligans were spread across two tables nearby and were all speaking very loudly. You could expect/tolerate it a bit more if they were drinking beer and it was later in the day but having coffee and breakfast at 11am doesn’t seem to go together with the atmosphere they were creating. Frankly, one of the worst food experiences I have had. Not sure how this place gets good reviews. Asked for a glass of water for my toddler, it came in such a dirty glass, mucky water, that we preferred to leave it aside. Truly disgusting. The "huevos rancheros" - I do not know what that dish was, but it was definitely not huevos rancheros! Please stop this badly made cultural appropriation. At least google a photo of what the dish looks like. The "advocado" tasted like frozen avocado, the tortilla was solid rock, almost non edible, the "pico de gallo" salsa was mostly onion - come on guys! The sausages we also ordered as a side, burnt! Seriously, not a single thing went well in today's kitchen....
