(14/04/18) (9:30pm entered the restaurant) After a busy day out, me and my boyfriend wanted to go for a bit of food at this Indian restaurant... we arrive and notice it's a really busy Saturday night but they find us a table and we begin to order. Bearing in mind me and my partner dont eat meat and i have certain intolerances to some vegetables so we find it hard in any indian finding a main dish that we can both eat. So we chose, onion bahjis, chips, nan bread, popadums, sauce tray, and a Korma sauce which was clearly stated on the menu for £2.95 with NO terms and conditions attached. This is our usual order at any indian and it has never been a problem. The waiter took our order fine but then another waiter came back to refuse our service. He was very rude and did not understand our dietary requirements. We offered to add more food to our order that we could eat (e.g. more chips and more bahjis) that made up for the fact a main course wasn't ordered and it was a busy restaurant. However, he didn't listen and continued to clear our drinks and cutlery away from the table. We were left sat embarrassed and ashamed to get turned away from a restaurant for not being able to eat "standard" food. We asked the waiter one more time could we eat here and he said he needed us to go as he needed the table (there was clearly empty tables in the restaurant still)....
I will not be recommending this restaurant and I definitely will not be spending my...
Read moreBrilliant food and delicious service! Rumbly rumbly in my tummy… I did not eat all day in preparation for my “Massala Lounge” meal. Hours waiting in anticipation… with high expectations they were EXCEEDED with flying colours! Firstly, I love the entertainment provided via the telly above the stairs, my family and I enjoyed it greatly. The naans are freshly made, fluffy, puffy, cooked to perfection, and overall spectacular, and my brother requested I write about the vegetables provided with the “mixed meat starter” - “it’s crunchy and delicious” - Adam circa 2024. To top off the divine, scrumdiddilyumptious, exquisite meal- the top class, perfect way to end the meal, a minty chocolate. Come here if you want exceptional service and delicious food. Photo provided of empty table to show food was...
Read moreworst place to visit, completely tasteless. i would never recommend masala lounge to any one for several reasons first of all their food was absolutely tasteless, staff was not friendly, the place is understaffed, staff can be talking to other staff members in their own language which is quiet rude in front of a customer. when the food came up i asked the a member of staff to call the chef when mr chef came up i asked him to try the food he cooked for us but he would not touch it, can you imagine their staff would not eat their own restaurants food, in sale town i would only recommend ZUMAR restaurant no one can compete with them when it comes to taste.
I WOULD NOT WANT TO GO THEIR AGAIN I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
