Poppies Coffee Shop & Children's Play Area — Restaurant in Trafford

Well where do I start.....I drove around looking for a cafe to cater to me and my little girl's dietary requirements, several cafe's said they cannot accommodate a vegetarian breakfast even after asking for it to be cooked separatey.

Now onto a positive note I accidently came across Poppies cafe. What a breath of fresh air.

I was greeted as I walked in with a smile, my little girl said 'good morning' and how lovely it was to witness the interaction between them.

The staff behind the counter listened and enthusiastically accomadated our dietary needs.

This cafe is clearly built on offering amazing food, great service and best of all they are a cafe which are child friendly and their ability to engage with young people is outstanding.

I ordered a full vegetarian breakfast alongside with a child vegetarian breakfast. I just about finished my breakfast and my little girl just about ate half of her breakfast as the portion was definately more than we were expecting.

The cafe was was well presented and clean as one would expect from a well run establishment.

The atmosphere was walm and welcoming. It was consistently busy which customers coming in and take away orders being collected.

The cafe has their own childrens play area, at the counter they offer colouring activities which we took full advantage of.

Overall we will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend you visit. A great little cafe and perfect for families.

Lovely little cafe with really friendly staff. It's very reasonably priced and they do smaller portions and pick n mix options for kids (choose from cheese, grapes, carrot sticks etc) which is perfectly for food not being wasted. The children's milkshakes are great, too, and portion sizes are sensible.

Atmosphere is relaxed and there's seating indoors and outdoors. There's a separate small room for children, with TV, colouring, toy kitchen and books. Small but clean loo with baby changing facilities and there's a separate building/room for parties. I've attended one of these for a kid's birthday and it was great - we were well attended to when needed but still left to our own devices.

At first I was a bit wary when it was suggested to go there but I was pleasantly surprised really nice place obviously they are catering to families nice indoor play area for the kids I had a bagel that was absolutely fantastic my mum had a cream tea and because they're baker and let them down on their normal scones they gave her to because they were smaller than the normal sizeI think it's really good value for money not a kind of place you go if you're just an adult on your own and you want some quiet time but for families absolutely...
