Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Trafford

*December 2022 Update: 90 minute limit on parking now, which is half the original limit, but they have started making it really clear in-store. Updated my review to 4 stars because I’ve got no real issue with the Starbucks itself now that they make people aware of the limit - drinks are standard Starbucks and staff are great - but I think a 90 minute limit is a bit harsh on those who like to spend a few hours out of the house (working/reading/relaxing). Great place to do some work, wifi is fast and the staff are super friendly. For that reason, 5 stars. However, the retail park now has a 3 hour limit on parking, which didn’t always exist and isn’t made clear. Pretty frustrating seen as though I just got home from shopping to unexpectedly find two fine letters (£60 each) in my mailbox from a couple of days I’d spent there last week.

So I’m giving one star just to highlight to people who might think they can stay and work at this Starbucks for the whole morning/afternoon/whole day. You cannot. It’s a great Starbucks to spend up to 3...

Decent branch of Starbucks, its on the urmston retail park opposite aldi. There's plenty of parking space, they offer drive through, and there's plenty of seating inside and some outside though you may not want to sit outside when the weather is hot and you can smell the nearby sewer works. Service is brisk, and it's the usual stuff you'd expect from Starbucks. NOTE: the car park has a 90 min limit, which seems excessively short, especially given that there is an aldi, and a five guys here. The parking notice states that they use ANPR to record number plates and that you could be fined £100 pounds. Beware! Received my fine, it's reduced to £60 if you pay within 14 days, what a joke. I used to love this Starbucks but I went today 10/06/22 and the staff were just rude through the headset when ordering. We asked for an iced caramel Machiatto with vanilla cold foam which I know they do as we got it the previous day and my friend works at Starbucks so it’s a drink I get quite often (quite simply made milk with vanilla syrup in the blender) the boy that served us at the window was so lovely but there were a few staff in the background saying they never do this drink and they were all bickering with each other so I got my phone to show them proof as I don’t want to be called a liar.
