Best Thai food I've had in years! I've heard good things about Kai's Kitchen and finally got the opportunity to visit. Although a small venue it was clearly very popular both with sit-in diners and takeaway orders.

Service was quick and the waitress took our order and read it back to us to confirm she had got it right, which was really reassuring.

I had Moo Bing for starters which is pork skewers with a delicious sauce, and had one of my fiance's dim sum. I can confidently say that it was up there with some of the best dim sum I've ever eaten. The Moo Bing was succulent and the dip was full of flavour.

For my main I had the Kai's Kitchen special rice, and Volcano Chicken. The rice was fantastic and had lots of chicken and prawn in it. The Volcano Chicken just fell apart as I put my fork into it, full of a rich flavour that comes from the sauce, and was a really good portion.

I also tried some of the chicken Phad Thai, and I would recommend this dish the most. I could not fault it and I'm sure I will return just to have this!

The price was very reasonable too, especially as the portions were large! We couldn't finish the whole meal and took...

We booked a table for four for my birthday. We tried for 19:30 but were advised they book in two sittings and the only time we could be accommodated was 20:30. We found the table very small for four people and were worried where all the dishes would go when they arrived. Fortunately, some other customers finished their meals and left and the staff asked us whether we would like another table joined to ours to create more space which we accepted and this really assisted when the dishes arrived.

I enjoyed the Pork Thai Sausage for starters. I ate the chili which came with it and got the hiccups! There were a lot of Thai starter dishes I have not seen on a Thai restaurant menu before including this dish. It was delicious and certainly something I would choose again. For my main course I choose Chili and Basil stir fry with fish. This wasn’t what I expected but I ate it all. I had sides of Mint and Chili rice which was nice and Pad Thai Noodles with Prawn. I couldn’t eat all my food but I enjoyed it very much. I would be very pleased to return again and try some...

Nestled on the main hill Upto the shopping centre from the train station this little place offers a varied tai menu. We managed to get a table without booking on what clearly was a busy Friday night. Staff were initially attentive and keen to get us seated but did take a little while to take our order. We put this down to being so busy. StFf were friendly and happy to suggest additions to to your menu choices. Food was quickly served, came hot and packed full of flavour. Good portion sizes and lots of options. The only thing was that if sat near the door, there’s a regular flow of delivery drivers opened the door so the chill from outside does make the legs cold. Also we ordered single rums and we’re given doubles, of course we were charged for doubles so worth keeping an eye on. Overall it’s 5 starts purely down to the food. An excellent choice for a night out or a quick bite (or...

Kai’s Kitchen - England - Tunbridge Wells Recommended to us by some local Thai ladies who we met while here. Booked our early dinner as suggested - glad we did as it was super busy. Mentioned we eat plants and the gentleman who was serving made sure the kitchen were aware to use no fish sauce! Started with spring rolls, tofu followed by green papaya salad, sizzling tofu and sweet and sour vegetables - everything was obviously freshly cooked! NOTES: So tasty and authentic thai! Staff all friendly and attentive despite us sitting outside when they had a full restaurant! You can get take away as well as we saw plenty coming out ! #vegan #restaurant #royaltunbridgewells #plantbased #thai
