Momentum — Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

Popped in here today as the Pantiles was choc-full!

Pantiles loss. This place was great. A little quiet when we arrived (a few covers at the back) possibly because the place had such a tiny frontage!

We sat at the window table and soon another 4 customers arrived.

Momentum have a great selection of cakes but we were looking for savoury and we had Eggs Benny (sic) and a croque monsieur with poached egg. Both really well presented and obviously made with care. And delicious.

The caramel decaf latte was spot on (and huge) as was the hot chocolate. More a bath tub than a large cup.

Service was attentive and charming.

Apparently they only opened last week. A lovely place in a great location with excellent decor....

I stoped by to grab a coffe because I ordered food from next door to the cafe, I just came to sit somewhere nice while waiting around for food, so I decided to order a ice coffee and the service was phenomenal!!!!

from the second I walked in they was busy, but all three people behind the bar smiled and took my order, and when I came to collect my coffee they gave me a Complimentary pastry.

Thankyou so much literally such a bubbly and friendly environment… I was having a bad day they literally made my day with their smiles and kindness😘

God, this place just goes from bad to worse. I work locally and stopped going here several months ago because it was overpriced, service was slow and the coffee wasn't that great. Popped in this morning for the first time in about ten months and it took 20 MINUTES to get a simple triple shot latte! (I was the only customer in the shop at the time). So service isn't just slow, it's GLACIAL, the coffee still isn't great and its still very overpriced for what it is. ...
