It was a first time visit for us. The decor is a little dated but the seating was comfy. We ordered a D’Avola which was well priced and some bread & olives whist we scanned the menu. They served nice olives, but dry white baton bread slices, so I asked for oils. The Bruschetta is served using pizza dough base which was dry. The Arancini had a lovely meat centre, soft rice & crisp shell .. quite nice we thought. Service was a good pace and the staff are nice, quiet helpful. I had a middle course of Melanzane Parmigiana which was just perfect in every way. Note the Ragu here is wild boar. It’s fatty I know, so we opted for the chicken & mushroom and the pork cheeks in a spicy sauce, both with pasta. Both were lovely, really well cooked and the pastas were perfect. Neither of us eat dessert, they served complimentary Limoncello. Our bill was a reasonable £90

We booked a table to celebrate a birthday. After ordering the food and drinks, we waited nearly half an hour for the drinks and water to arrive. The starters took another 45 minutes and from ordering it took well over two hours for the mains to arrive. When they did finally arrive there was a long delay in all of them being brought to the table even though it was a table of four. There was no real explanation of what the holdup was other than another table had requested additional dishes. The restaurant wasn't very busy which made it more surprising and no attempt was made to redress the poor service when the bill arrived.This is a real pity as the food was great, but let down by...

I was part of a lunch party for 9 and what a lunch party we had!! Marco looked after us so well, one of our party booked a table for the next week! Such great authentic food (have eaten lots Italian food - in Italy), these guys have definitely mastered it. The chef was Sicily, Marco was from Sicily - can’t get better than that!!! Friendly, informative, attentive.....such great service. The food was absolutely amazing, the wine was extremely good and all at a most reasonable price! They offered us 15% off our bill at the beginning (during August of Covid-19) which was most helpful - in honesty, I’d have had no problems paying full price - it was that good!! We will be booking...
