An amazing old fashioned pub with pool table, dart board and juke box just a short walk from Saffron Walden Common.

We went for New Year's Eve, when many other local pubs were closed. No entrance fee and the drinks were the usual price, not hiked up like other pubs we've been to for NYE. They even put on a free buffet!

A fabulous little pub, let down by the fact there's only one ladies loo.

Returned in February for a drink with friends. Great atmosphere, even without the celebratory new year and live music.
