I was visiting Great Dunmow and I read Evan's review and said to myself "I would like to experience a real pub for a change as these boozers are a dying breed and hard to come by as most pretend wannabe pubs are pretentious". Read moreKicked out for bringing kids in while we wait for our Chinese to cook, we even paid full price for a game of pool. The very happy gentlemen (possibly landlord) said I had to buy everyone a drink, Water was not on the menu. The other patrons were extremely friendly, they didn’t have much to say. But they did stare at us when we walked slowly towards the exit. Highly recommended! Filled my kids with so much confidence!
