I asked if there was a y gluten free cakes etc. The young waitress had to go and ask. A few minutes later she came back and told me all the flapjacks were gluten free. She then used the same hand to pick up the gluten free flapjack as she had used to pick up my friend's jam slice and was putting it on the same plate before I stopped her! She then swapped the original one for another putting it on a separate plate. However the one which had touched the other slice was put back on sale. Please educate and train your staff about the importance of cross contamination of gluten/non gluten products. We just had coffees and fruit toast, but the toast was £4.00 a portion. A little pricey, we thought, but surely we’d be getting lovely fresh, artisan bread for that. Turned out to be two slices of the tiny supermarket fruit bread you get for 80p a loaf. We couldn’t believe it. Absolutely extortionate.
