Reply to Landlords feedback comments as below. "Sam Smith" is renowned for imposing his "rules" within his pubs I just don't want to drink in an establishment which applies such rules. I would accept a quiet "technology free" area, but imposing these restrictions throughout is archaic. If "Sam Smith" wants to impose these restrictions then fair enough but I doubt whether this business model will survive. (Decamped to Boons in Horbury. Tradional "Real Ale" pub with no restrictions. Great place, I’d love to return. What really stood out to me here is that unlike many smaller pubs in West Yorkshire (let’s not pretend this isn’t a problem), if you aren’t a regular you’ll be welcomed & made to feel welcome by the staff & the regulars. You won’t be gawped at or having the bar staff & the locals wondering what on earth you’re doing there. No phones or loud music but that means you can actually hold a conversation with someone....
