We ordered for a delivery at 8pm to celebrate a new job, passing an exam, and the arrival of a new baby, put all this on the online order we made, and called up at 10 past 8 to see where it was after my wife had stood out in the cold for almost quarter of an hour. Not unreasonable... one would think.

The gentleman who picked the phone up was the rudest individual I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to. He interrupted me immediately, and talked over me at every possible opportunity, when I was simply asking for clarification. There was no apology for the fact that their system had apparently not been working: "the plugs have gone off", and therefore they had supposedly not received the order. The tone was IMMEDIATELY combative and hostile. He put the phone down on me twice, and our conversation (which lasted a total of three minutes) included such delights as "I am talking to a brick here" and "I don't need to speak to you". Not the finest graduate of the school of customer service.

On my final attempt, a different gentleman picked up, who refused to give his name, stating "I know my legal rights, I don't have to give that to you because someone might abuse me". Irony abounds. Gentleman 1 remained in the background, hurling insults. I have let them know that I am writing this review and would not recommend the establishment.

It's a real shame as we've had some lovely meals from the place in the past. The food is good. Though I daresay that based on the venom put my way this evening, I shan't risk the likely "contamination" if I were to try and...

Horrendously bad customer service. Staff have got a serious attitude problem. We booked a table for 20 online for yesterday at 8pm and gave the restaurant a weeks notice. We all arrived between 7.45pm and 7.55pm and we're asked to take a seat in the waiting area. It got to 8.20pm and we still hadn't been taken to our table so I enquired with a member of staff how much longer we would be waiting, I was told 30 to 40 minutes. I told said member of staff that we weren't very happy with this as the table was booked for 8pm and we had all arrived in good time to which the member of staff replied "it's up to you if you don't want to eat..". Upon returning to our group to tell them what had been said we heard the same member of staff shout to his colleague across the bar that we were being unreasonable and that they "don't want customers like that". On hearing this the majority of our group walked out of the restaurant. 2 members of staff then approached myself and another member of our party and started talking at us in a very irate manner saying that they would get us a table in 20 minutes to which we replied no thanks, the damage had already been done and we would not be returning. So we managed to ring round and find another restaurant which could accommodate us and spent our circa £800 there instead, and a very nice...

Always fabulous. One of my favourite Indian restaurants in the wider area.

Very welcoming and attentive staff. You will certainly never sit long with an empty glass here.

Had a deluxe thali with a great selection on both chicken and lamb dishes. It also has a serving of rice. This is always great if you like to try different curry or can't decide one dish to order.

We also had a chicken haandi which is beautifully flavoured with very tender chicken in it.

We both like our food on the spicy side do staff always happy to accommodate or add more chilli / spice up dishes on request.

Great naan bread. Always served hot and soft with just a little bit of crisp too. The family naans are huge.

I also really love how knowledgeable and patient the waiters are, often happy to talk through the menu and have helped me on a number of occasions selecting and recommending dishes I otherwise may not have picked.

We are regular visitors and have visited with family, friends, as a couple and even booked a private banquet and birthday party in the side dining area.

Never any service issues and food is always excellent.

Price is average and inline with similar restaurants. The thali we had is one of the more expensive items at around £17 but very good value for the selection. Plus we had enough left to take home for lunch...

Ordered from here in November. Absolutely lovely. Just ordered tonight. Food arrived quickly but my husband’s korma was so watery (see image). I know a korma and chicken bhuna aren’t the most adventurous dishes but they were so much better last time. Onion bhaji (see image) and mushroom pakoras were so greasy, the batter on the pakora was spongy and thick. Sundries were dry, cold and flavourless. Please do better, even on a busy night; this was almost 40 pounds worth of food.

Always check your order! As part of my £28.10 order was Chicken Bhuna and Chips, which was delivered with no chips. When I phoned up to complain I was told they weren't ordered, 3 witnesses in the room can confirm they were. I NEVER order a curry without chips! After being told it would be 15 minutes before redelivery, by which time my Bhuna would be cold, I said not to bother. Won't be ordering from here again! Should have stuck with the OASIS!
