Went in last night after a long shift to pick up dinner. There was a man there giving one young girl in particular grief. He had his daughter with him (looked more like a friend due to the similar age) who wasn't wearing a mask.
The fabulous (I believe her name was Jade? Dark hair in braids and glasses) asked the girl to wear a mask. The man claimed she was his child and didnt need to wear a mask (No way. She was a fully grown adult). He got extremely aggressive about it which was totally uncalled for.
He then proceeded to stand in the area designated for delivery drivers. Jade (I hope I have her name right) VERY politely asked him to move to a different area. He was AWFUL. Swearing at her, calling her names, making a massive scene.
Honestly, causing a scene in a Wakefield Maccies. How embarrassing, he literally had no shame. Jade, and the rest of the team handled it so well. He was refunded and told to leave.
Working with the public can be such a nightmare (8 years of it under my belt!) But I cannot imagine doing it during Covid too.
The team and Jade in particular are a credit to the company and I hope this...
Read moreThis is my local McDonald's and with2 McDonald's fans I should be happy it's so close but we do NOT use this place anymore the manager Alfie is Arrogant And very sarcastic I ordered a 35 pound order on the McDonald's app he told me it wasn't payed for after showing him it was he got snotty told me I had to pay cash as was not payed for then left me 30 mins waiting on food I'd payed twice for .. he told me the order had come up twice so gave me the cost of one meal back with my cold meal the food was un Edible flat cold and chucked in a bag he was visibley talking about me to staff after waiting nearly 1 hour from me first placing my order on app I got this food n still had to cook for the kids as this went in bin I will never use McDonald's again and as for there management team they need to rethink alfies Position as is unprofessional and very arrogant to the Customers I hope this is resolved but I very much doubt it. That's why I will not be going there again. Which is a shame because most of their staff are...
Read moreArrived at the drive thru at 0540 and first negative is someone on the intercomm just went "mcdonalds" I said have ordered on the app (mcmuffin meal)....silence...told her the code and she just went huh huh...drove round to first window told orders gone through so went to the next window waited for 5 minutes and I am guessing it's the same person who was on the intercomm went "hash browns ain't ready go park" so I did and at 0605 I was still there....and just to add not one person was in the drive thru or waiting...I was just about to go in and ask what is going on when I saw the same person heading towards me with my food....she basically threw the bag at me and walked away no sorry for waiting just pure attitude....to cap it off the food I got was just about warm enough to have. I would suggest moving staff around have someone who has least 5% more manners and improved attitude at the intercomms and counter...putting likes of that attitude on the grills or better get...
