The food here was perfect, well presented, tasty and at a really good price. Lighting needs to be lowerd to make it more cosy and i was quite cold hence 4 stars but otherwise highly recomend.

Visited here yesterday. We booked a table for 7.30 but upon arrival they had people crammed in, despite having signs up saying they had a max capacity of 28 due to Covid guidelines. We had to wait outside until a table came free, which we were happy to do. Upon getting to our table, the previous occupants had spilled food and drink all over the table and floor, which nobody had attempted to clean up. We were a table of 6, so they had pushed two tables together. We asked for the filthy tablecloths to be changed, due to the food but also covid as no attempt had been made at all to sanitise the area after the previous customers left. The waiter took off the black top tablecloth of one table and went to replace it. One of our party asked him to change the even dirtier white one underneath too, which he did reluctantly only to put a dirty one back on. He then went to change the second table and when he pulled the black cloth off the top the tablecloth underneath was absolutely covered in dried food and drink and didnt look to have been washed in weeks. When this was mentioned he said they didn't have any other tablecloths. The staff were leaning over people as they were so busy and nobody appeared to even know what social distancingbwas. I didnt see any hand sanitiser anywhere. They weren't taking card, only cash, which makes me question whether everything is being put through their tills as they didn't even bother to ask our parties names for track and trace. We walked out before it even came to ordering so cannot comment on the food but they don't seem to care about covid or general cleanliness so we...

Hit and miss. We've eaten in a few times and it was ok on the whole. They don't create a very warm atmosphere but the food was fine. Takeaways have been a different story. Both times the order was wrong. Even though the order is put right it takes the edge of it when you all end up eating at different times. Final straw was this last takeaway. One of two main courses missing. Quickly delivered but the chicken was hard/rubbery. Took it back to show them and told it was "good chicken, you can't get better". Which is odd as all 3 previous meals (chicken) were very different and fine. My general rule is you don't need a steak knife and a good arm to cut chicken in a curry. Apparently I'm wrong. Didn't accept a refund. Quite happy to just say our expectations on food quality isn't aligned...

Been coming to Shuhag for around 3 years. Although the customer service has never been great, we've always returned because the food was excellent and always left a good tip, Unfortunately last nights Curries were nothing like we've had there before. Bhuna was particularly poor. Karahi very watery and So many onions... Customer service really poor again!!! They need to remember customers pay there wages, Staff were verging on rude!! Last visit from us we won't...
