I'm someone of South Asian origin, so I'm familiar completely with South Asian food. This is the worst South Asian food I've ever tried. We had to bring the food back with us because we don't like to waste food. The only good thing was their dessert as shown in the picture attached to this review. We spent over 70 pounds here and also tipped the waitress because she was nice. I would strongly advise people not to tip the servers, because the owner takes the tips and I'm very familiar with this behavior now also. When we tipped her, she handed the money to the manager, upon asking him to pay her the money back, he responded with we give it back at the end of the shift. I am well aware that this is never the case and some South Asian restaurateurs take the waiters' tips. It is unfortunate that these owners take advantage of these people who come to work to make a living. Update : I'm slightly confused with the owner's response below. I obviously went recently and left a review a little later when the shop was probably closed, but I don't know why that would prevent me from leaving a negative review? Lol

We visited here today and was really pleased we did. The staff were friendly and approachable. The food was really good. We ordered Paneer Pakora, Chicken Pakora, Chicken tika jalfrazi, Lamb Karahi, mushroom rice and two nan breads. The meal cost was £36.50. At the restaurant you bring your own alcohol in. There is a kwicksave directly opposite the restaurant so you can buy your wine and beer just before you go jn. There is some on street parking and there is a small car park near to the restaurant. We booked before we arrived and the restaurant was full half an hour later. It is small and not the fanciest restaurant around but the food and service was really good and great value. If you found this review helpful please like.

We visited this place in Aug 2023 on the way to Holyhead and were most disappointed with the quality of food and service (waited for over an hour after the order). Don't go there if you want authentic South Asian cousine. There food was just not good, rotis were half cooked, Dal was bland and chicken not marinated, just too rubbery. I wasn't expecting this from them, considering that they had such a high rating in food and service, unless it is otherwise. See the pictures. What they show in their web site maybe just be one of the case where they have an outside chef doing the cooking and taking pictures. From what they served was just not authentic, total waste of time and money.

I asked twice to turn off the music since no one was there but the owner still wanted it on. The food was 45-55minutes which seems a bit too long and the grill wasn't working. Unfortunately I can't rate it any higher even though the curry was really tasty just because the service isn't what I expect from a Restuarant that charges £4 for water. I also paid by cash and was meant to get some change but he asked if I want the £7 something back which I replied yes. He then proceeded to say he dosent have the full change and is £1 short or something and asked if that's okay. I said okay but felt it was very unprofessional and as a restaurant if you dont have the change maybe give me £2 coin back and take the £1 loss yourself instead of over charging me as I wouldn't expect a shop to let me off £1 for food. The manager and family were very nice and gave a sweet to the kids but I can't rate it higher unfortunately. If they fixed those things and listened to customers I am sure they would've got a better rating. The manager also said if other customers come they like the music which I totally get but no one even came after us so he should've just turned it off since he can tell we are Muslim and he even salamed us so it was all...

Visited this restaurant recently and having had an excellent experience a few years back at the restaurant, unfortunately this time it was not as good. Firstly, the restaurant does not accept credit/debit cards and just accepts cash. This is so wrong, especially during a pandemic. To protect Customers and the restaurant staff from Covid, the option to pay with credit/debit card should always be available and I'm sure most customers will use that option. Secondly, I had the most expensive lamb dish at the restaurant and I was not convinced that the actual meat used by the restaurant is lamb. There was a smell/taste to the meat that indicated to me it might be mutton. Also some of the meat in my dish had a lot of fat on it indicating to me that the meat used is not the best cut. Another customer sitting nearby could be also heard complaining about the lamb dish they had ordered to their family, therefore there has got to be an issue with the lamb. On a positive note, staff were super friendly and helpful. If the above issues could be resolved, then we would be...
