The chip shop on the edge of town. Well worth the turnaround, park and walk back. Chips freshly cooked, crisp and light brown , and tasty. Plenty of salt and vinegar - no soggy chips. Polite and quick service. Couldn't have been better. I was offered a fork, I said no thanks, I'll eat them at home, but they were so fresh and crisp I ate them in the car, all of them, hot to the fingers. Killer fish and chips. Huge portions, great chips, lush fish. Love their curry sauce. They've got dandelion and burdock. Nice staff, even when it's busy.

Lovely bacon rolls, they almost always use butter instead of margarine (I guess sometimes the butter runs out).

If you're going be careful because they do close at 5pm, most if not all days of the week, the time everyone finishes work hungry, dinner time, like they're allergic to money...

The best chippy to sit and eat. When I go to a chippy I want 3 things hot food, full plate and good value for money. Templetons hits the spot every time. The staff are very friendly the food is cooked to order so is hot and fresh to the plate. I've had a few things from the menu and it's all been cooked very well. The dinning area has always looked clean and tidy. In my opinion it's the best place to go for a sit...
