Big Mo's Cake Shop — Restaurant in Wales

Had to spend a bit of time in Ystrad so thought we would have a coffee and a bite to eat, nothing else open so the wife went into Mo's it looked clean presentable from what she could see as all sandwich prep was done from behind a hole in the wall! We had 2 lattes and 2 chicken and bacon mayo rolls, she asked for granary bread (don't do granary bread we just do rolls) and the rolls were the cheap 4 for a pound rolls you buy in Asda, Lovely Not! She asked for oat milk in our lattes not cause we're vegan we just like the taste (girl behind the counter had the look of what's oat milk) the lattes were Luke warm the rolls were thick in margarine (sickly so) and over mayo'ed both me and my wife put half our rolls in the bin and the coffe was more milk than coffe, we won't be going back and would not recommend Sorry Mo you could do so...

I visited the first time today, due to the recommendations that this was a lovely cake shop When I entered the cake shop i wasn’t greeted with a happy bubbly salesperson. I was greeted with someone that seem like they were fed up and didn’t enjoy their job. They had a wide range of cakes and pastries as well as sweets, which I was really interested in having a real good look and was looking at buying a little more than I ended up buying. Absolutely beautifully cooked hot rolls and always have a good selection! The cakes are also out of this world, pricing is very reasonable even considering today's constant rising of everything. The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome! Would highly recommend anyone and everyone pay them a visit as I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!
