Wow, Just Wow. Where do I start. Burger King Llanelli is now buying fake reviews to boost their score... Several repetitive reviews in the last month. I wouldn't trust them. They cant even put the right ingredients between two slices of bread
Disappointing.
The small number of times I have been to this restaurant have all been an unequivocal disaster.
Cant customise/remove ingredients from the mobile apps. Across the rest of the country all other Burger King restaurants, I have eaten at using Uber/Deliveroo/Just-Eat allow you to remove ingredients from a burger for allegen reasons. Why this branch in Llanelli does not allow you to remove items I don't know
Slow. Constantly made to wait 20-30 minutes. Several weeks back, I ordered in-store and was the only person around, no Uber/Deliveroo drivers in sight, and no cars in the drive-thru. yet I had to wait 30 minutes for my food to be cooked. it wasn't even as if they were short-staffed. I could see numerous people walking around in the back.
The final straw and the reason for this review. Hygiene. After eating at BK today I picked up on several hygiene issues. None of the staff were wearing hair nets with frizzy hair astray and free for the pickings. The boy standing at the front counter who was constantly wiping his nose, with his hand and scratching his ass before handling food. While I understand this is the season for flu and illness I don't particularly want those "special ingredients" with my food. I've seen better standards in McDonald's down the road
While Mcdonald's is shut until who knows when I would have thought Burger King would have anticipated a rise in demand. but no. today was a shambles... I was made to wait 30 minutes for an overpriced cold pathetic lump...
Read moreI visited via the drive-through tonight (30th Sep. 2025), just before 8pm. I pulled up at the speaker a couple of minutes before 8. I eventually got a very drippy sounding voice from it, about 3 minutes later (sounded stoned, if I'm honest). I know this, as the 8pm news came on the radio, a little while after I pulled up, and had finished by the time I was able to place my order! When I eventually got handed my burger, it was 8:17, meaning that from the time of placing my order, to actually being handed it, was nothing short of 20 minutes! The cherry on top, was that it wasn't even particularly warm! I was offered NO apology or explanation for the delay. I asked what the delay was, and was met with a blank stare of confusion...as if he was surprised that 20 minutes to wait for a burger was excessive! he then offered a half-hearted apology, and that was that. He gave me a lame excuse of the counter being very busy...however, when I drove round to park the car, I could see into the restaurant, and it was almost deserted! This was the slowest service I've EVER had in any so-called "Fast Food" outlet...in fact, I have (literally) waited less time for a steak meal in a restaurant, or a full English in a very busy café, when it's been almost full! First off, Corey crafted my burger with such care that it wasn’t just a burger–but a masterpiece: the flavour, presentation and even down to the smallest details like the wrapping.. top tier! It’s clear Corey takes pride in his work. Then there was Madison who greeted and served me with such warmth and professionalism. Her friendly attitude and genuine smile made me feel instantly welcome! She turned what could have been a simple fast-food visit into something truly memorable. And let’s not forget Jacob, who packed my order perfectly. Every detail was spot on! Neat, organised, and ready to go. It may sound small, but it showed an outstanding level of care and dedication to making sure the customer gets the best possible experience. Thank you so much you three you’ve really turned a gloomy day into a ray of sunshine for me, Burger King should be proud to have Corey, Madison and Jacob representing their company as they’ve really turned an ordinary lunch into something special....
