Scilicorns Bakery — Restaurant in Wales

Fantastic family run bakery with wonderful products and delightful customer service, we always stop here as we pass through Llanwryst to access snodownia and the coast. Yummy pies, cakes and dougnuts. Our boys insist we stop now everytime we go past. they even want us to stop when we are on our way back, but most shops are closed by that time of the evening! What I like about Scilicorns is that it is an old school bakery with friendly local staff, who care about the products, and the customers, it is very popular with the locals. It is a refreshing change form the soulless world of Greggs, starbucks, Costa, crispy creme etc . I wish there were more...

2 adults 2 children cheese and onion pasty, 2x bolognese pies and a cornish type pasty all the nicest weve ever had and served heated up. Then a iced fairy cake, old school cake, viennese cake and chocolate muffin all yummy. The best choice ive seen in a bakery for many years wish all bakeries were like this one traditional style. Called in by chance in passing. So glad we did. A traditional bakery with excellent choice and quality. Just wanted a sandwich but we ended up buying four cakes and a tray bake as well. We were spoilt for choice and everything was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Just wished we lived nearer but will definitely call again when we're...
