The staff at the cafe have let it down unfortunately. We asked if we could have toast but apparently it’s impossible to toast bread at 12:30 in the afternoon according to the cheerful member of staff behind the till. We were then told quite clearly that we were to get our drinks ourselves from the drinks cabinet in a very matter of fact manner. Two of our party waited for over 40 mins for their sandwiches even though we ordered at the same time. Another customer asked if they sell chips and the answer was a short sharp “no”. With the proviso that you have to climb a quite high staircase to reach the cafe balcony and the entrance, your efforts will be worth it to see the views over Solva Harbour whilst enjoying a latte or whatever takes your fancy.
