The Chopsticks Noodle Bar in McArthur Glen seems to have become much more popular over the past 6 to 12 months. Its popularity may be a result of people becoming more health conscious or they are looking for a change from the usual McDonald’s fast food next door. Whatever the reason, the noodles (or egg fried rice) are different from what you will find in most fast food places and they taste great. We normally have noodles here at least a couple of times a month and the three of us have something different; I enjoy the vegetarian katsu curry, my girlfriend has the salt and pepper potatoes, and my daughter likes the caramel chicken. There are quite a few different toppings available, although the only vegetarian choices are katsu curry, vegetable curry, and salt and pepper potatoes. There are other options like spring rolls, prawn toast, and prawn crackers, although we’ve never had these. Most of the staff are friendly and seem to be very conscientious and hard working. Some of the staff give smaller portions than others, but they are quite happy to give you more if you ask politely. I recommend the food here, as it offers interesting flavours and textures not found with the usual fast food places, especially for vegetarians. We normally eat food at Chopsticks and then have hot drinks (and ice cream for my daughter) at Sidoli’s to make more...
Read moreVisited the new Chopstix restaurant on its grand reopening day in the newly built food court and was lucky to be given a promotional voucher for a free medium box for their first 100 customers! I’m a long time customer, eating from their old food court position as well as their mobile van whilst construction was underway and have always enjoyed their food and service.
They didn’t disappoint today either! The layout was well designed with plenty of room for accessibility for all and large tables to accommodate groups as well as more private single seating options. Everything was clean and tidy.
The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful.
The food was great as always and I ate the whole contents of my box! Forgot to take a before picture because I was too hungry to wait! Added a quick snap of the food bar of some of the options.
Highly recommend a visit I you’re up the Pines and looking for a good...

I then rang chopsticks to ask if I could add dips to my order, in which an employee said that our meal (spring rolls, chicken balls etc) has a choice of dip that comes with, so we added our dip. Our order arrived and the dips weren’t in the delivery, so my partner called and said that he had ordered dips previously through the phone, the manager who was a different person to know answered the previous call said that we can’t have our dips because we haven’t paid for the dips, so my partner expressed that he was told they come with the order, all in all the store manager had terrible customer service and was completely rude.
The portions were small enough to eat with toothpicks, spring rolls were soft, rice was dry, didn’t have any dips either so food was severely dry.
Would...
