Very disappointed. I am a frequent Starbuck's customer and the service and quality of drinks was shocking. When I first approached the counter I wasn't even greeted and stood there for a few minutes watching two staff members chat while I stood right in front of them (no way they didn't see me!). I ordered the peanut butter cup frappucino with coffee(which I absolutely LOVED at another Starbucks). I received my drink and the taste was completely off! It tasted NOTHING like it did at the other Starbucks - it was bland, tasted almost like frozen almond milk (although this wasn't requested). When I approached the counter, I was greeted very unpleasantly by a female member of staff working behind the counter, who said "Do you want me to just make it again??". I replied that I was sorry and that I really didn't like it. She replied with "Well, it's not supposed to be made with coffee." After making the drink again, I thanked her and she placed it on the counter without replying and walked away. Unfortunately, the drink still tasted just as awful as the first, however, I was weary about approaching the counter again after how I got greeted the first time. I won't be coming here again. I should mention that the other two male members of staff were pleasant, it was just the female...
Read moreAbsolutely shocking experience from start to finish. As Jake was taking my order, other members of staff were talking to him and over me, meaning I had to repeat my order several times. Once ordering, we then had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks, while the staff behind the till were laughing between themselves, no sense of urgency in them even though there was plenty of people waiting including myself. After finally having my drink and leaving the store, I took a sip to find a piece of plastic in my drink, after taking the lid off and looking through my drink it was full of little pieces of plastic. Thankfully this wasn’t given to a child as was the perfect size for a choking hazard. As a result the £5.50 I spent on the coffee had to go in the bin. Some serious training and simple people skills need to go...
Read moreI was given dairy here and I have a dairy allergy. At the time, I had a suspected dairy allergy. I told the barista this and when she served me she asked if I wanted oat milk for preference or allergy. I told her allergy. My partner and I were served in cups with no labels to tell me which was which, the server literally just pointed my drink out on the tray. Turns out ‘my drink’ was the dairy one, I took one sip and immediately got a scratchy throat. I then queued to ‘wash out’ the dairy from my mouth with a £2.70 bottle of water, as I was embarrassed, thinking it was my fault. I now have to carry EpiPen for my allergy, so the fact that the barista did not label or tell me the right drink could have cost me my life if I had...
