COAST Cafe & Gifts — Restaurant in Wales

I have found my 'must go to place' and will be starting our Llandudno visits with a stop here first each time!!! In the nicest way, the cafe whilst it looks inviting doesn't necessarily stand out, and I've passed on other visits never stopping by (not needing to)

This time we were hungry, we saw the pavement sign advertising bacon baps and decided to get some, they were lovely, the food was certainly fresh, the bacon was tasty, thick and full of flavour! We Decided to stop back before we left for home and purchased a millionaire's slice, again it was delicious, fresh and very moreish.

It can be hard to get a great cafe, that sells fresh tasty food that is sensibly priced but this one certainly has managed it! Even better was the service was great, the inside clean and well...

Revisited this week and ordered a bacon bap and coffee. Wish I hadn't bothered the bacon was disgusting it was grey, rubbery and tasted 'piggy' if you know what I mean. The server on the takeaway hatch that served us was also very morose, don't do the job if you don't want to be there!! Not just me, my husband commented later in the day that the horrible bacon taste and smell kept repeating. Disgusting. Recommend take your own food, coffee is...

We love Coast in Rhos, it's always well staffed. The service is great and the food very good. The Llandudno experience however was very disappointing. Staff mooching around inside whilst tables needed clearing outside. The average age of the staff was about 20. Service verging on the indifferent. Perhaps some sort of staff swap would be an idea to get them up to scratch? Definitely needs...
