A cracking wee find at the southern end of Fishguards main thoroughfare. Feeling peckish, we had the Scottish breakfast (complete with haggis and square sausage!) and cheese toastie. The food was cooked to order and appeared quickly. Super tasty and just what we needed, including perfectly cooked chips. While this is definitely a cafe, there were some other classic items on the menu to explore. Being Scottish myself, I had to enquire about the connection to my homeland and Alan, clearly a man that enjoys his job, explained it all (ask him!). This is also a licensed premise, so if you want a beer or glass of wine with your toastie (or lasagne), there's that option too and there's a menu in the evening at the weekend. Open all year (not always a given) this is definitely worth a pit stop, even if you're just passing through Fishguard!

Wet afternoon and in search of coffee and food , we popped in. Lovely floral display out the front gave it an enticing homely feel. Inside is a homage to deer/stags.. There are a lot to look at whilst waiting for food. Everywhere was clean and other customers seemed happy. A couple of large breakfasts, a latte and a flat white soon appeared. It wasnt particularly busy, but the staff were friendly and attentive. The portions were generous, the food was hot and tasty and the prices were reasonable. The only thing that let it down was the coffee! It was quite bitter tasting. Otherwise a great little cafe.

We dropped in for a cup of coffee and a snack mid morning here. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table quickly. We really enjoyed it here and loved to overhear some of the local chitchat in Welsh. It was a worthwhile break and we’re glad we took it. It’s right down the street from the public parking lot so it’s easy to get to. If you haven’t been here yet, you must go. If you have been here, you must go back. We certainly will next time we’re in the area.

Loved this little cafe/pub. Beautiful flowers outside may us stop and take a look inside It was busy and had a very friendly welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all lovely. I ordered a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and a coronation chicken baguette, both very tasty and filling. They very kindly let us recharge our phone's too which was great because I run of battery power and wanted to take some photos of Fishguard. They have a small beer garden too. I cannot fault this cute little cafe it's worth a visit if you are passing. They even gave us a tip of a beautiful stop near Newgate, which we did and the views of the coast were stunning. So if you are in the area, please stop and have a drink / food, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff for being...

What a great find this was.We were in Pembrokeshire for a week and was looking for a dog friendly place to rest with a cuppa and bite to eat. We were greeted by Alan the owner who was very friendly and showed us to our seat.We ordered The Carrot cake and Coffee cake.Wow the best carrot cake I have ever tasted,so light and moisture. My fiancé loved her too! So on the last day of our holiday, we made sure we went back but this time I ordered the Large Traditional breakfast and Sara had The regular Scottish Breakfast. It was yum and set us up ready for our journey back to Ross On Wye.. Alan was so friendly and helpful with up and coming events. Thank you Alan and the staff at Cresswell's Cafe, hopefully be back Christmas or New year...
