Davies's Surfside Amusements & Diner — Restaurant in Wales

I'm a regular visitor to Surfside at Pensarn & I find it hard to believe the negative review that was posted recently. I was there myself over the weekend (which was a bank holiday & is always mega busy). The staff there are amazing & will always bend over backwards to help people out & if a problem is brought to their attention they will do their utmost to try & rectify things. Regarding the toilet issue it's not the arcades fault, the problem lies with Conwy council who keep saying they are closed due to vandalism, this isn't the case, the problem is that the payment machines keep breaking down & have done so since they were installed a few years ago. The food at Surfside is always freshly cooked, well presented & extremely tasty so with it being freshly cooked it takes time & with it being so busy you can expect a bit of a wait. I feel this persons comments are totally unjustified & what's worse they couldn't even be bothered to put their names to it. From Kevin...

Just wow!

An absolute delight of a place which has everything you could want from a traditional seaside all in one place !

We went in to play the 2p machines which were stacked with other prizes as well as spitting out tickets for possible higher prizes. Bingo was happening behind us and at 20p a go is absolutely value for money if you enjoy it.

The staff were all very very pleasant and warm

There is also crazy golf which we didn't do but would be a fun way to spend some time.

We ended up staying for food as everyone else's looked and smelled amazing and we were not disappointed. Fantastic no frills value for money and the milkshakes were devine.

Only one thing made us have to rush off and that's the unfortunate lack of a loo. Sadly the ones on the prom are currently closed and the closest is a good 10/15 min walk at Tesco.

Waited 40 minutes for a breakfast , when the breakfast arrived my fried egg was not cooked properly the white was still runny , no apologies about the wait or the lack service . I used the change machine which is situated right by the seating area I put a £10 note into the machine and only received £9.70 when there should have been 10 pound coins . Overall unpleasant experience I was also shocked by the amount of people who were vaping around small children and the staff and owners could not seem to care less . No toilets either when we asked the owner referred us to another cafe down to the road to use their toilets instead .
