Domino's Pizza - Caldicot — Restaurant in Wales

It's Domino's what's not to love 🤷‍♂️ Like most Domino's it's staffed by "kids" I guess the minimum wage being cheaper for under 21's means your £15 pizza, made for 80p can be done cheaper, and when your paying bottom dollar that's what you'll get... Anyway the food is good, and the service fine. I'm reviewing this store based on more that one experience, which sadly is inconsistent. You can order online for a specific time only to be waiting an extra 15 mins after the alloted time in the store, and because only one person is allowed in the store at one time makes it impractical to wait. Also order accuracy can be a problem, with it being either short of an item, or having the wrong toppings. As someone else has mentioned, they are very lenient with the toppings here too, the one pizza we had last visit, had about a 40-50mm "crust" or missing toppings all the way around it and very sparse in the way of other toppings. All in all it's fine, I could choose another franchise local to me but it's all the same franchisee, so it'll be similar in quality. More attention, competence and training required. You can’t serve up 30 quids worth of pizza that is soggy!! Surely it’s not possible for you to get it soo wrong? Your professionals at what you do??? You even have quality control, at least that’s what my ap says. Obviously will continue to eat Domino’s but will more then likely order out of town and pick it up. The best experience of it all was the driver ….. he cared and was nice but whoever put this pizza together went HAM on the sauce then undercooked it. To add to this quality control must have been on a break as this pizza is only good if your planning on eating it in the rain or in the Bath. You’d be alright about the soggy mess in front of you then.

More frustrating is I wanted to call you to discuss my frustration and you couldn’t even be bothered to answer the phone.

I’d think twice about ordering...

Ordered a pizza which arrived wrong, rang and complained and was very pleased to be told keep the wrong pizza and have a free one next time to say sorry, it was my child’s 6th birthday party, we managed with the food we had. Was told I didn’t need a reference number etc, it was all logged against my booking and my name. Rang a few weeks later on my next order and explained the situation with the complimentary pizza, was told no they don’t do that, asked to speak with manager and was out on hold, then promptly cut off, rang back again and was told by a different person they would ring me back after speaking with a manger, call never came. For such a large and reputable company who I have used hundreds of times I feel very let down and upset. Will never use this branch again, shame as they are right on...
