The staff are all jovial to put the customers at ease , all in all a perfect location to rest and yet mingle . There's a cozy corner to enjoy solitude if you so wish . The sound of the steamer wooshing in the back ground and the grinding of the coffee sounds like you have just walked in to a Delicatessen in Italy with a Welsh twist .
I looked at the Menu and went for Grannys number one breakfast , No disappointment an excellent choice . Bacon rashers nice and trimmed and thick , tightly rolled sausage , double egg and toast and large plum tomatoes accompanied by beans . I was in grave yard heaven . An extensive menu to choose from Give Grannys Kitchen a try and be the apple of Grannys eye . Now my Second visit equally as good as its first ordering something different to fill the crevis in my belly . Another 5 Star experience . No disappointments . The young girl serving was polite but the young staff were totally inexperienced and how to do table service. They brought a small teapot which half filled a mug and half filled a cup. My sister ordered a potato pancake, it was over cooked and very dry, not put in front of her with cutlery just left at the end of the table, she wasnât asked either if she would like a sauce. My order was forgotten, when I chased them up my omelette was dry and burnt I couldnât eat it. I left the whole thing, We were charged full price for poor food and service. Our food arrived tepid, re heated sausages, bacon was too tough and only items that appeared to be cooked fresh were the toast and eggs. We ordered some sausage for our dog which came out cold thats when we knew the food wasnt cooked fresh to order. The dog refused to eat the sausages which says it all.
