I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at HWB in Narberth! The restaurant not only impressed me with its warm and welcoming ambiance but also left me amazed by the fantastic selection of meal choices and the wide array of craft ales available.

The highlight of my visit was the Thai food, which was simply outstanding. The flavors were authentic, and each dish was beautifully presented. From the aromatic curries to the delectable stir-fries, every bite was a delightful burst of flavors that transported me to the streets of Thailand. It's evident that the chefs at HWB have a great understanding of Thai cuisine, and they truly mastered the art of preparing these dishes.

Aside from the excellent Thai offerings, I was thrilled to find such a diverse range of meal choices on the menu. Whether you're craving traditional Welsh delicacies or international flavors, HWB has something for every palate. The variety of options was impressive, and it made choosing our meals an enjoyable experience in itself.

The ale selection at HWB was equally fantastic, catering to beer enthusiasts like myself. The craft ales available provided a wide range of tastes and styles, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of local and independent breweries. It was evident that the restaurant takes pride in curating an extensive and diverse selection of drinks, ensuring that every guest finds a brew that suits their preference.

To top it all off, the staff at HWB were attentive and friendly, making the overall dining experience even more enjoyable. Their passion for great food and excellent service was evident throughout our visit, and they were happy to provide recommendations and suggestions to enhance our...

Where do I start? As a group of 4 friends, we like to travel around and have a night on the beers. A friend had recently moved to Narberth so this proved an ideal situation to jump in the car and see somewhere we'd not seen before.

I'll start by saying that Narberth is simply stunning, an idyllic little town where it seems as though nearly everything is independently owned and the people are only too happy to invite you in.

HwB........Had been on our radar ever since our friend had moved there, as 3 craft beer nerds (and a cider enthusiast) this seemed to tick a lot of boxes for us..........I'll save you the long read.......it didn't disappoint!

We had envisioned doing a small crawl of Narberth, but in reality, we didn't really leave HwB, Between us we tried every food stand (Each of us had a different favourite, but all were top quality) and must of sampled every beer twice over!

It's all too common in "Craft beer bars" for the staff to be a little surly these days........I'm pleased to say that HwB doesn't subscribe to this! Smiles from the offset, knowledge of the breweries and beers when required, and an all-around feeling like we were welcome and wanted.

I'm not one to write reviews too often, but in a world where hospitality is getting harder and harder then praise should be given where it's deserved........And Hwb definitely...

This is an absolute star venue for Pembrokeshire in the popular town of Narbeth. Hwb brings together excellent examples of the local food and brewing talent for you to sample and enjoy.

There is space for up to four different kitchens, three were open and being used when I was visiting, to offer excellent food. Classic, fresh made to order burgers, authentic Thai food and a latin kitchen offering tacos as well. These were all operating at a busy level and what we saw coming out of the kitchens looked great.

At one end there is also an incredible selection of local beers and ciders from independent brewers across Pembrokeshire. The offered drinks are regularly updated so there is always more to try and they also offer takeaways of most of their offered drinks.

We opted for some for a Thai curry and some ox cheek tacos as well as a side of the chorizo and some Thai fishcakes as well. None of it disappointed. We had definitely over ordered and took some of our lunch home with us to enjoy later. I regret none of it. Over order and enjoy.

Do visit, do but local and support these local businesses making incredible dishes and showcasing excellent local...

Family visit with two adults and two young teenage girls. Beer was great (Tenby Brewing), the Tacos were 10/10 as were the chilli and lime fries. The burgers the girls ordered felt a little under whelming, the beef used seemed good, but lacked seasoning and there just wasn’t much option to jazz things up, 6.5/10. The Thai my wife ordered was very poor, the worst Thai food we have ever had. We ordered Pad Thai, chicken wings and tempura prawns (sharing). The Pad Thai was absolutely nothing like any Pad Thai we have ever had, lacking that sweet, lime sour, and chilli kick you would expect, the sides of wings were like gelatinous pre-packed awfulness, and the Tempura prawns were the usual sort of thing that you’d find in a supermarket freezer. What I don’t understand is that this is meant to be cooked by Bee and we used to buy food from her when she was down in Pembroke Dock (always amazing), so I’m wondering if she is even involved anymore? 3/10. We are going back but it will be for Tacos and the Indian (which we didn’t try this time, but looked amazing).

A really great venue for getting together, having food and a drink. The venue has about four different street food vendors serving an extensive selection of food such as tacos, burgers and poutine, to name but a few. Each vendor also has vegetarian options (possibly vegan, but I didn't notice I'm afraid) Then there is the bar, with about 20 beers on tap from local breweries such as Tenby Brewing and Bluestone Brewing, but also guest ales from further afield. A good selection of IPAs, stouts/porters, sours, etc The venue itself has plenty of seats and tables, with benches, chairs and more comfy sofa seats. There is also outside seating. It's also child and dog friendly. It's a definite recommendation from me.
