Ordered food at 6:55pm whilst driving from LONDON, to arrive at my hotel for approx same time uber eats said 55 minutes so gave myself plenty of time, no update available as the restaurant delivers using their own drivers,I wait and I call at 8:05 when it says delivery would be between 7:45-8.05, was told to wait half an hour didn’t really speak the best English. So I called back as I didn’t have signal in my hotel. Was told they are very busy, no update unless I had rang and told my hotel is far away???? Yet they are running 30-40 minutes behind?! Laughable as I have just driven from London and could have picked up on route but hence the long drive wanted it to arrive as the same time. Person I spoke to was rude, lied said my order had left and then said it hadn’t they are busy? None of which is my problem don’t offer your services on Uber eats if you aren’t happy to deliver to a location 6 miles away?! Couldn’t make sense of the truth was the order on the way? Or are they lying. It’s 8:21 now and told to wait 30 minutes because it’s ’ fresh’ I could have in this time eaten in my hotel was the whole purpose of this. The irony is it still hasn’t arrived, worst customer service and I’m Still hungry! what’s the point????? Can’t refund my order and restaurant rude and unhelpful barely able to speak properly, so to say I’m hungry and disappointed is quite simply the truth.

Could have been told it would be longer but unless I called I would have no update and just worst customer service on the phone. No apology and lacking in customer service skills.

I mean there is hardly much on the area so I highly doubt this would be even worth waiting for.

Update it’s 9:05pm I ordered at 6:55 on uber eats so over 2 hours!!!! NO FOOD DELIVERED 🙃 awful luckily I’m in a hotel and can eat which I should have done in the...

Avoid! The service was diabolical-I had to ask various people to take our drinks order FOUR times, and it still took ages for 1 pint and a soft drink to arrive! We asked the hovering waitress if she could take our food order, but she said she couldn't. We then asked if she could take our drinks order, and she said she couldn't. There were a few dirty tables that needed clearing around us but she clearly couldn't do that either as she repeatedly walked past them without doing anything, which made us unsure of her purpose in the restaurant as she didn't do any of the usual waitress tasks. We had already had our poppadom starters before we received our drinks, and then every course was hugely delayed. An argument broke out between the mother of another waitress and the man behind the bar (owner?) which was apparently about us as they were shouting at each other and pointing at us a lot (we were the only diners left there at this point as it was getting on for 11.30pm..!) It made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and NOT the romantic Valentine's night vibe we were looking for...avoid at all costs, I'm sure there are much better places to eat but unfortunately we were not local hence our poor restaurant choice. As for the food, by the time our main course arrived around 2 hours after we arrived, we were beyond hungry and just wanted the experience to end so that we could go home; we didn't even stay for the set menu dessert. And FYI, the 'gift box' on our table, which contained a KitKat and a cheap 'gold' bracelet only added insult to...

Junction Tandoori Restaurant, Cornwall:

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Never Again!

I ordered fried rice and biryani from Junction Tandoori Restaurant and it was by far the worst food experience I’ve ever had. The dishes looked like they were drenched in food colouring with no actual vegetables or fresh ingredients. As soon as I opened the containers, I was hit with a terrible smell — the food was clearly spoiled and completely inedible.

It genuinely looked and tasted like leftovers from two days ago, just reheated and thrown together with no care. The rice was mushy, the biryani was bland and greasy, and nothing tasted remotely fresh. Within a few hours of eating, I had an upset stomach and ended up sick for three whole days. It completely ruined my weekend.

This kind of negligence in food hygiene is unacceptable. Serving spoiled food is not just bad service — it’s dangerous. I can’t believe they are still in business operating like this. I will never be ordering from here again, and I strongly advise others to stay away unless you want to risk food poisoning. Total waste of money and a serious...

Well I had read quite a few reviews but was a little shocked from the outside as part of the building is wrapped in corrugated steel and not welcoming in anyway. However we pressed on. The restaurant is above a Marston pub and is actually quite tastefully decorated with a striking colour pallet including orange and black! Loved the booths giving you privacy but still hearing the hum of other conversations. The waiter was so friendly, funny and professional. He really made the experience. You will actually get two waiting staff and two bills, one for the drinks from the pub side and one for the food. Both bills are presented together making it an easy if not unusual experience. The food was good, loved the Chicken Chat and all our party enjoyed the evening. The portions are large. The staff chicken dish was a little bland but the rest ultra tasty. Best lime pickle I have ever tasted and will return.

How wonderful it is when you find an unexpected delight of a restaurant. We are staying in Llandudno Junction, and expected to travel in to Llandudno for an evening meal; however a quick Google search for the best local Indian restaurant meant we didn't have too far to travel. The restaurant is located above a Marston's pub - drinks ordered in the restaurant come up from the pub, and you have to pay for the meal and drinks separately. The payments for both are taken at the same time though. The food itself was fantastic - my sweet chilli chicken using Naga chillies and mango was sublime. The heat came through, but so did the sweetness. As I said, sublime. All staff we dealt with were polite and attentive, but special mention must go to Opu who was charm personified. If I lived locally, this would definitely be my 'go-to' Indian restaurant of choice - they do also deliver.
