Fu House — Restaurant in Wales

Normally if we treat ourselves to a takeaway we get it from Golden City (just down the hill from Fu House) but last time around we decided to try Fu House for a change. We popped into the takeaway and ordered over the counter and weren't kept waiting too long. I had a special fried rice which wasn't as flavoursome as the ones I've had from Golden City, it was a bit more like boiled rice with meat mixed in. Strangely their prawn crackers are pre-made and come in a sealed bag a bit like the ones you'd buy in a supermarket, albeit they're slightly better quality than supermarket ones. However they lack the crunch and prawn flavour that freshly made crackers have. On the plus side the chips were some of the best I've had for ages. If they could make fried rice to the same standard of their chips I wouldn't hesitate...

We're visiting the area, so needed a quick meal. Ordered takeaway for 4 people. The food was ready when we arrived, stored in a heat bag, so was piping hot, order was 100% correct and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered 4 mains, 2 chips and noodles, all for £40. And the portion size was very generous. We have some favourite Chinese Restaurants that we use regularly back home and our standards are high, so this is high...

Had a great time at a friend's wedding an wanted a quick, decent takeout.

Was recommended Fu House by a friend and was NOT disappointed!!! Absolutely fabulous food and although the staff forgot some of our things on our order, which technically we didn't pay for, they very quickly fixed the issue and didn't charge us for the forgotten food.
