Klub Kitchen 83 — Restaurant in Wales

Can't give this place enough of a shout out. Went a week or so ago as we were recommended by a friend. My partner and I were greeted by Sam, and we told him we wanted to sit in. Unfortunately, Sam explained that the boiler in the building had broken and they were waiting for it to be fixed (no fault of their own, it was down to the club underneath), this didn't stop us sitting in and Sam went out of his way to offer us an electric heater by our table to try warm it up abit because it was cold inside. We looked at the incredible menu and decided to go for the Klub Kombo, and when Sam brought our food out, I was amazed and very excited as it looked so much better then we imagined! Even when we forgot to mention my partners peanut allergy, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe to eat, as did the other staff. Second week in a row we attended as the food was so good. Great warm welcome from all the staff and Sam came out of the kitchen on both occasions to welcome us. Menu is varied and plenty of choice as well as a platter where you get to taste a lot from the menu at a great value. Drinks are very reasonable not many restaurant do a glass of wine for under a fiver. I had the klub chicken stacked, chicken bread on lovely panto crumb, cheese and the best pulled pork I've ever had on a seseme seeded brioche roll. The chips are thin so crispy with sprinkling of herbs. My son had pulled pork tacos with chips stunning. We shared an amazing home cooked apple and blackberry crumble and custard. The food is always great but today, the customer service went above and beyond. I didn’t update the delivery address on my app but only realised after the food was out for delivery. Rang up to explain and their first thought wasn’t the inconvenience, the extra time or cost, but that the food would not be as hot or as enjoyable as they intended. They cared more about the quality of their food than what my mistake would cost them. They needn’t have worried as the food was as delicious as always and I couldn’t recommend them more highly after the way they responded to someone else’s error. If there was an option to give more...
