Something went to very wrong direction since all this Pandemic situation appears. After long months of closure (restrictions) finally get to the glasshouse and unfortunately have to say that had a massive disappointment.
Seems to be that no-one was taking a care of the plants as a lots of gone, and the ones which left in very bad conditions : dry, damaged, cutted down. Fishes in a pond are almost invisible, turtles gone somewhere and spotted dead rat instead 🐀☠️😳
Opening hours are short during the winter season so I live with hope that someone will properly maintain this place and it will get back in full glory with spring...
Read moreWent all the way here only to be too early for opening time so it was locked.....rest of park, which was open, was full of dog walkers ...not against it we have dogs....but they were running around chasing each other... off lead obviously....but I scared of being knocked over by them, because of the speed they were going, while owners were just chatting and oblivious....so wanted to walk quietly in the botanical area, sadly not able to, due to the late time of opening 😞 will go back but later in the day. Me and my husband and my kids could not get enough of these beautiful plants and flowers. 💐 and something I could not believe about it was that it was free to visit!!!
