Something went to very wrong direction since all this Pandemic situation appears. After long months of closure (restrictions) finally get to the glasshouse and unfortunately have to say that had a massive disappointment.

Seems to be that no-one was taking a care of the plants as a lots of gone, and the ones which left in very bad conditions : dry, damaged, cutted down. Fishes in a pond are almost invisible, turtles gone somewhere and spotted dead rat instead 🐀☠️😳

Opening hours are short during the winter season so I live with hope that someone will properly maintain this place and it will get back in full glory with spring...

Went all the way here only to be too early for opening time so it was locked.....rest of park, which was open, was full of dog walkers ...not against it we have dogs....but they were running around chasing each other... off lead obviously....but I scared of being knocked over by them, because of the speed they were going, while owners were just chatting and oblivious....so wanted to walk quietly in the botanical area, sadly not able to, due to the late time of opening 😞 will go back but later in the day. Just to say 10 am is the opening time for anyone who wants to visit this lovely area in...

One of most unforgettable places I have visited. It had so many different kinds of trees and flowers. I visited with my family in late July and the flowers were in full bloom. Me and my husband and my kids could not get enough of these beautiful plants and flowers. 💐 and something I could not believe about it was that it was free to visit!!! For Birmingham botanical garden we had to pay a lot for tickets and it wasn't half as good as Swansea botanical gardens. I definitely recommend visiting it with your loved ones!

Visited the gardens for the first time and have to say, it was wonderful. Firstly, the fact it was free to enter was a huge plus (have to pay to enter the one in Birmingham, where I'm from). Then, marvelling over the sheer variety of flora - just stunning. The peaceful serenity of the gardens adds to the experience. Highly recommended a visit, but give yourself a good couple of hours to truly appreciate the variety of flowers and make the most of your visit.

It's my favourite place in Swansea. A lovely stroll around the gardens. It is so well looked after and looks stunning at every visit and in all seasons. The flowers, trees, fish, and greenhouses with exotic plants always look immaculate. We take nuts for the squirrels and seeds for the birds so the kids can get close to them and feed them. Such a relaxing place to visit. Would highly recommend it, and it's free!
