Decided at 3am to go and get a burger as my partner and myself were peckish. Firstly when we put in our order on the screen the receipt got chewed up so I was unsure of my order number so I just had to keep an eye on orders coming out( I had 2 Iced lattes so at this time it was a fair guess that no one else would have that). Waited for over 30 minutes for our order to be dumped on the pickup point. The server called to number twice and left and the food place place down with the gentleness of a brick dropped from three stories onto a carton of eggs. I got my order and tried in vain to find a table without rubbish on it. Eventually found one that was redeemable, but was unable to wipe it down as there were no napkins anywhere to be found. On my first journey to the bins I found them overflowing with waste and no place to put any rubbish! This explained (almost) the waste everywhere else. upon sitting down I proceeded to take out my order making sure no food touched the actual table. To my surprise my McSpicy was roasting hot(BONUS!), however everything else was as cold as a three day corpse and probably less appetizing to look at. When the food was brought up so get this sorted the staff promptly ignored everyone and continued to stand and chew the cud like a herd of brain damaged bovine, all the whilst ignoring the alarms sounding which I'm sure was reminiscent of the control room in Chernobyl before everything got extremely hot (unlike my food). Eventually a staff member delicately ( by this i imagine that a try in rugby gets set down with the touch of a feather) placed an order up, when confronted they asked what was wrong with it. They were informed that it was 'bloody freezing' and reluctantly said we could get a new order on. Great... just a pity they have no idea what the items on the menu are meant to look like as they then proceeded to argue about what type of meal it was! Might I add that at this time the rest of the staff were still either standing or hanging out of the drive in window still chatting and quite often turning the air a lovely shade of blue with their choice of language, not that I have anything against the color blue, some of my favorite clothes are blue, but a time and a place please. Strangely enough the replacement order arrived in less that 10 minutes and was warm enough to eat (I won't say hot because that would be a stretch in the use of the English language) After we had consumed our less than satisfactory food(?) we tried in vain to put our rubbish in the bin but failed and had to leave it with the slowly growing (and I'm sure growling) rubbish but not before nearly killing myself on some mayo and lettuce that was slithering off in disgust to start a new colony in another part of the eatery. Probably the worst eating experience of my life. I have eaten in nicer stores in some of the worst parts of North Dublin and they were absolutely sparkling and attentive compared to...
Read moreI'm appalled at the service I received at Bridgend Retail Park, Cowbridge Rd McDonald's (CF31 3XX) this evening.
My boyfriend and I ordered our meal at the drive through, clearly stating our order. Now I ALWAYS order large meals and always say it as "Can I have a large (so and so) meal with an Oasis." And as always, double checking what is on the order screen before we go to pay.
Bare in mind, our order came to roughly over £10 for a large Chicken Select meal (with an Oasis) and a regular six Chicken Nugget meal (with an Orange juice).
As we come to collect our food, we received Orange juice, and our food as regular. My boyfriend tells the man who was at the window that we were waiting on an Oasis. With no apology, he goes to pour us a regular Oasis. My boyfriend politely corrects the man again as we ordered a large meal. We could already see attitude on the man's face as he goes to fill our large drink. As our order already seems to be messed up, I double check in our food bag that we had everything we ordered when I noticed there were 2 regular fries. As the man hands us the drink my boyfriend again, politely tells the man that we ordered a one large meal and we have two regular fries.
The man begins to throw a bit of a tantrum and my boyfriend says to him: "I'm sorry mate, but we just want to receive our food as we paid for." When the man rudely replies with: "Well you didn't pay for that Oasis." We both reply "Yes we did." And again, which shocked the both of us, the man says: "No you didn't. It says on here what you ordered." And slams the receipt down.
By this point we are both confused. We know what we ordered, as we order the same thing as always. And seeing as the bill came to over £10, I can't see how any mistakes were made with the order and the billing. And as my boyfriend works in retail, he understands how mistakes can be made anyway but would still have to give excellent service towards customers otherwise he would receive a disciplinary.
My boyfriend asks another employee if we could see the manager, as we were quite upset with the attitude that was given to us. As the manager comes over, we both explain the rude service we were given and tried to explain what we ordered. The manager didn't seem to care very much, just kept repeating the word "Sorry."
We are extremely shocked at the service we were given tonight. It's upset us both. We feel this should have been delt with a lot better, and the manager should have done a lot more due to customer service.
Was not a "Happy Meal" at all and I am not...

I got annoyed as I can't just eat another one after being sick and feeling like I want to continue being sick, the team leader wouldn't give the name of the manager or his own name, He told me there is nothing wrong with any of the other eggs as they are in date, I said but there was something wrong with mine and that it's a different egg, because he refused to except my egg had an issue and not wanting to give his own or his managers name I said I would come back and deal with it a different time, In my 52 years on this earth I have never come across...
