Migel’s Fish Bar — Restaurant in Wales

Excellent little fish and chip shop. Easy to find off the main road. Queued outside in the rain due to the 2m distancing in place, but was a good sign that people were willing to wait in the rain! Inside, masks and face shields were worn by staff and masks by customers. They had markings in place to stay at a safe distance. I ordered 2 large chips and a large curry sauce which came to £7.60 - not bad for the amount we had! They even had 2 types of curry sauce to choose from: mild or spicy. The spicy was nice but not overly spicy. Couldn't eat all the chips. They were really good chips, not too greasy and not undercooked. They were quite chunky...

This shop is spotlessly clean, and the staff are pleasant. Every Friday is family fish and chip night. Normally around five or six families. However so disappointed last night, there were two out of the three fish ordered, hardly any fish, just batter. This is not the first time unfortunately! Its too far to drive back and point this out, the last time the owner was really good and took money off our next order, no issue there. BUT this is not good customer service, surely you can see at the time of cooking that this is unacceptable. Majority vote is we now...

This is a large chips £3.85!!! just got them now had to wait 10mins for them to be cooked (which is not the issue)...but when I politely ask are you sure that is a large to the girl and she sarcastically says no I was shocked.... when asked again the manager looked over but same reply....I don't like to make a seen just got home but this review is the best way to explain it!!! shocking if they are that desperate for money I would give them a bit more, rather than ripping people off for some...
