Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

I love Costa in general terms but I can honestly say that this particular place is going down hill fast, in terms of food offering, staff and surroundings.

I visited today at 2:15 and, lo and behold, there was no hot food available, not even a slice of toast!!! There was a very limited choice of sandwiches, either egg or prawn mayo and one solitary all day breakfast!! When myself and another customer commented on the decided lack of food on offer, we were met with a response from a staff member that can only be described as an 'unconcerned shrug'.

I have noticed the decline of this Costa over the last 6 months and,after the events of today, I can honestly say I will not be visiting again. I will, instead go to the new Costa which has opened by Aldi, where, at the very least, the staff are far more helpful...

So, when I came here a few weeks a go it was a amazing experience. From the food, drinks to staff and the bathrooms. Let's start, firstly in my option the bathrooms in costa have to be the best, the cleanest toilets. I also love the style of them too. Then we have the food, I know it is quite expensive for what you get but it is pretty good. Most foods they can warmed up which is a nice touch, I would recommend a meal with cheese in it as that is by far the best ingredient. Yes its quite small, yes it can be very busy and difficult to hear yourself chat above the din but I still enjoyed my experience..staff worked quickly to try and keep the queue to a minimum, a good array of sandwiches..salads and cakes were on offer, again They were on the expensive side but the prices are in line to their other named rival coffee shops. What is nice is the larger than normal outside seating area, its off to the side of the shop and is nice on a sunny day and I found we were not disturbed too much by passing traffic. Clean toilets..tables that were cleaned quite efficiently when vacated ...all in all I had a love experience at this...
