Nando's Merthyr Tydfil — Restaurant in Wales

Food was absolutely awful, I get they have to compromise with allergies but their is absolutely no excuse for chicken to be dryer than a bone left in the hot sun for two weeks, also the chicken had zero flavouring at all so was absolutely tasteless, for a first time visit I was very disappointed in the food. Not to mention the lady in yellow that served us the food misgender my girlfriend by saying "here you go sir" wasn happy about that all if a staff member is unsure on a person's gender then please ask what are the correct pronouns to use before just assuming what they are, I really wanted to have a go at this person but my girlfriend said not to and ignore what that horrible server said as it does happen, it shouldn't happen at all in my opinion and staff really needs to be retrained in asking for correct pronouns instead of insulting people. I really don't recommend going for the food as like I said so dry, but also if you are trans or non binary I do not recommend going either as the staff will call you by the wrong pronouns. Another reason not to go is that it's not autism and adhd friendly at all, it's way to loud not just because of people but also because the music was so loud we couldn't hear the person showing us to a table was super uncomfortable and over stimulating as hell. Also I'd like to add the food was that bad that I left it mostly uneaten I had like a few bites and couldn't eat it that we left and went to the mcdonald's across the road which actually tasted better and...

Used to be a five star here, but since lick down 1 star isn't low enough for this awful example of a decent brand.

You can't book up, so that means our remember family can never eat here, as th the is never a table for ten available to just turn up at the door.

Today just six of us attempted to eat here, despite the restaurant being less than half full, the waitress tried to seat the dix of us at a four seater table by putting two chairs on the end. Quite where she expius to all our out foodie don't know, when this waspinted out to her she went all stroppy saying it'd be at least twenty minutes for a table, when there were at least two places I could see where a four and a two could be pushed together to get our six seater. We then tried to pull the four seater she originally offered us out a little way to put the extras on each end, whereupon she virtually accosted me For doing so even tjithh it wouldn't have put the table any further out than any other tables on that row.

Upon arrival we were seated straight away which was great. Everything sort of went downhill from there. Our chicken wing starters were brought out and were undercook, our halloumi sticks and dip cake without the dip and no alternative was given and we weren’t told this at ordering the food ether, the staff didn’t seem bothered at all, when our mains were brought out our starter plates were not taken away which caused us to be cramming things onto the table, my partner ordered a 1/2 chicken and was given a 1/4, the staff never came and asked if everything was ok with our good and overall the staff were actually quite rude and just seemed like they could not be bothered to be at work.
